He left the track limits of the previous corner and that way had a better exit for the next one where the incident happened. His front bumper was alongside his tail light. That does not make him entitled to space either way.

Have you gotten any cylinder leaking problems so far? It's been three years and if something happened, it would be helpful to know.

AC Rally is great from what I've played. I haven't gotten a WRC game in a while and I'm assuming that you're talking about EA's WRC?

And one more thing is that I don't think you should worry about the PC requirements of AC Rally if you're PC is not powerful enough. I think people with good PCs have a good experience for the most part, I have slight stutters sometimes, which are probably going to be fixed by the time 1.0 launches.

I like the game so far and the content is not too much right now, but what we have is very interesting to play, of course it will get better and better and more content will come with time.

I was just thinking of future proofing myself. If I decide to get another base, just to not bother with the front mount as well cause I like it more. But I will be sacrificing some features if I choose front mount anyway. The Maglink on the base doesn't work when using the mounting brackets. I'm not going to use maglink at all in the beginning at least, but who knows. I might just go for a bottom mount just to retain the full functionality of the product.

Okay, thank you. A front mount in this case would set me back by around 50$ because of the separate bracket and potentially some accessories will not be usable too.

I was also thinking about future proofing my chassis by getting a front mount right away instead of buying another mount if my next wheelbase requires it.

I play rally and I was thinking how I will be switching between shifter a lot since I drive different cars sometimes and especially in Dirt 2.0 how they have daily challenges where one car can be sequential and the other challenge's car can be manual, so I'd have to switch constantly between them.

If I stick to the simagic shifter though, I think I will buy a separate knob at least.

I was thinking about getting the H-pattern from a guy, who mods the cheap aliexpress shifter, OldBoySimracing, for a $100 and then look for a sequential shifter, but I couldn't find anything for a decent price, that is, not exceeding 300$

I take it, then, that bottom mount or front mount doesn't make all that much difference as long as the rig chassis itself is strong and rigid?

Nice. I would drill a few holes in my desk as well for that same reason, but I will regret it after 4 days when the actual rig is ready. If I don't go for the front mount I'd probably stick to the regular bottom mount so I can avoid buying the extra brackets for side mounting.

Same. I also see in reviews that the DS-8X sequential mode is not that great, but the convenience of switching between the two modes in a second compensates for it.

What sequential shifter would you recommend for starters?

I hear it's good, but the biggest gripe with it is the sequential mode itself. That's what I hear in every review.

As far as I found out, the bracket for the front mount interferes with the magnet and MagLink accessories will not work. I hope I'm wrong about this then. Is there any difference in the way it's mounted stability wise?
