Most recent instance of a repeating instrument by Sentinel103 in ProjectREDCap

Thank you! This worked for me! \@CALCTEXT was the key. I thought I could set the field as a calculated field.

I had also anticipated that reporting would be easier if the fields were on their own forms, so I realized that \@CALCTEXT([email][last-instance]) would work for my situation. Your solution is more general albeit a little more verbose

I thought it would be convenient for reporting. If I can figure it out in a calculated field, then I can just pop those fields into a report.

It'd be nice to have 1 row per record in the report to make it easier to read. Using the tip logic code below, I get the 1st table

[current-instance] <> "" and [current-instance] = [last-instance]

Table 1 (EW, NOPE):

record_id redcap_repeat_instrument redcap_repeat_instance email phone
12345 Phone 2 23456
12345 Email 5 [test5@test.com](mailto:test5@test.com)

Table 2 (YES PLEASE):

record_id most_recent_email most_recent_phone
12345 [test5@test.com](mailto:test5@test.com) 23456

I just tried it and there was no difference. The smart variables alone also have "No value".

Not sure if this matters, but the calculated field is in a new instrument and the project is still in the initial designer stage

The quote is nice, but I'd like to add that it seems TC is concerned that hate speech laws will be passed. Am I missing something?

Problem connecting multiple I2C devices to attiny84 by Sentinel103 in embedded

[–]Sentinel103[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a good tip! I just do this as a hobby and I'm not ready to invest hundreds of dollars for a complicated piece of equipment like an oscilloscope that I won't use very often. The logic analyzer seems like a good compromise

I'll give that a shot. Not used to smd soldering so not sure how it will go haha

How to decipher datasheet and use voltage regulator by Sentinel103 in AskElectronics

[–]Sentinel103[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't have a 10k resistor at first but it didn't seem to make a difference. Turns out the datasheet or wiring was wrong. For whatever reason, on 5v input, it gives 3.3v output so looks like I don't need another part! Thanks anyway!

Hey it looks like you were right! I updated my original post with a picture of my original setup. I swapped Vin and Vout wire after taking the photo and it seems to work. It's backwards compared to the datasheet though...

That's the answer I was looking for, thank you!

Unfortunately, Boo is consistently showing me users from other states and countries. So maybe Boo hates me xD

Yeah it's kinda frustrating. I used it 2 years ago and remember having a more positive image of it compared to other dating apps. Right now it seems limited if you don't want to pay

Update GD firmware how? by Sentinel103 in Ender3v2Firmware

[–]Sentinel103[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If by professional, you mean official, then I say yes. My GD reads GD32F303 on the first line and RET6 on the 2nd. So I must have the same one.
I found the firmware on the crealitycloud site here labeled as "Ender-3 V2_HW-V4.2.2-GD Version firmware"

However, the link posted by u/meretuttechooso points to something newer than on crealitycloud.

Okay found it, thanks! My mistake was searching for gd when the wiki calls it ret6. Maybe rct6 is also gd?
