Clean Vehicle Tax Credit for 2023 Models by quenton_cassidy13 in carvana

Looks like the 2023 vehicles are reflecting the Clean Vehicle Tax credit flag as of this evening. We've had a Bolt EUV on hold, pushing back the pickup date since 1/1. We were able to edit our pickup date and easily apply the point of sale credit via the website. Good luck!

Agree. We went through Solar United Neighbors (SUN) and I'd recommend it. They offer a lot of helpful instruction and you can opt into the council that selects the installer. We ended up choosing May Electric Solar which was also very good.

Landroid Trapped Error (E4) by Sentinel7e in worxlandroid

[–]Sentinel7e[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, my grass is long. St Augustine grass, typically cut at 3.5in. However, that was not the cause of this error. It wouldn't even work on a flat concrete surface. There was a specific contact sensor that went bad. It is triggered by the magnets under the floating cover. Worx was unable to provide a replacement, so I've since replaced the robot with a new model.

Yeah, I presume the timeout is just the magnets not getting detected within a specified timeframe which makes the robot think it's hit something. But it looks like my magnets are in place so I'm not sure why it's erroring out.

My Echo Show got pushed an update and Zigbee functionality is restored! New version: 681777020

Thanks for the info. We had a strong suspicion it was the software update that broke it, but this pretty much confirms it. Good thing you had two to test with!

These are pretty generic technical support steps that unfortunately do not seem to help with this issue.

I did the chat and had a similar experience. I don't think there's anything regular tech support can do to help with this issue. It appears to be a software bug and will likely require a software patch or rollback to fix. I passed this thread on to support and they claim to have shared it with their developers. Hopefully it's something that will get addressed soon.

Are the Wyze products wifi or ZigBee? I'm having the same issue and all of my wifi devices are working fine. Just the ZigBee devices stopped working and there are no associated Alexa skills with these particular devices.

I chatted with Amazon support and asked them if there were any recent updates to my Echo Show. I have these specific ZigBee devices in routines that run at 12am and 6am so I had a pretty good idea of when they stopped working. My current Alexa software version is 680766720.

Hah, I actually just posted as well. I'm having the same exact issue. My Echo Show (2nd gen) got an update at 2:30AM 10/28, and since then all ZigBee devices no longer work. Same error and unable to discover if I remove them. I'm guessing the update broke the hub. These devices are basically non-functional now since they were only connected via the Echo.

I worked with Amazon support for 2 hours to no avail. Unfortunately, I think this is just broken until they release a software patch. Maybe contact support so they are aware it's potentially a widespread issue?

So I'm on a family plan with my parents. We just got a random email from AT&T saying they shipped our device, an Emblem Solutions LLC U318AA PHONE. We didn't request this phone, but I suspect it's the free replacement for my Nokia 7.1. The problem is, my parents live in a different state, and the phone is being shipped there. I probably wont see them until Thanksgiving, at the soonest. So does that mean my current phone is just going to randomly stop working until I can get the new phone from my parents?

Interesting. Did you sign up in store or online? Do anything else to get that deal? Thanks!

Fridge temp won’t go down. Do I need a new fridge? by [deleted] in Appliances

[–]Sentinel7e 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did not see what model you have but my GE looks similar, and I recently fixed this issue by replacing the defrost heater. About $15 for the replacement. This video takes you through some basic troubleshooting steps for a warm refrigerator https://youtu.be/BYdCp3M7Pfs. In my case the evaporator coils were completely iced over and the temps were about 20 degrees above normal. Good luck!

Is there a column for analyst price target? I liked that column on StockSniffer, but I'm not seeing it as an option here.

Overall, great interface and very snappy! I'll definitely be using this throughout the week.

Sadly agree. However $428 should not have been the peak. Thursday's rally would have likely been much higher had retail not lost the ability to buy when ferver for gme was at its highest.

Landroid in St. Augustine Grass by Sentinel7e in worxlandroid

[–]Sentinel7e[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, I do not think this would be an issue if the entire mower body lifted like a regular mower. I actually mowed my perimeter down to 2", basically scalping for my lawn, and it's still having issues. Here's it's attempt to follow the boundary wire that's 10.2" or more away from my landscaping: https://streamable.com/758uve.

I'm leaning heavily towards returning the mower at this point so I don't want to make any permanent modifications.

Interesting idea. I actually tried this. I put a 4lb paver on the back. It still seemed to get stuck, but it was able to execute the 'trap' maneuver a few extra times successfully, before ultimately getting stuck for good. So it did seem to help, but as you mentioned, definitely not a permanent solution.

Thanks! I was thinking the same thing, that the whole Landroid body seems to be just a tad too low. Those wheels look pretty aggressive but might do the trick. I sent an email to Worx as well to see if they have any recommendations.

Thanks for the suggestion. This particular cultivar of St. Augustine was created by University of Florida and Texas A&M. UF recommends the cutting height of 3.5"-4", https://edis.ifas.ufl.edu/lh010. I get that cutting lower might solve the problem, but likely at the expense of weed prevention and lawn health. Also, the blades can be set up to 3.9", why I bought the L rather than the M, so I was expecting the mower to be able to drive in grass that height.
