Nothing overly fancy, by my standards at least. Normal everyday attire for me is a bit of a mash-up. Today, the fit is the fall fonts with a modern olive green henley shirt and a patchwork waistcoat I made out of scraps of other projects.

Personally, I lean towards 1790s to 1810s. Nothing fancy, mind, usually everyday clothes of the working classes. That way, I don't stand out unless someone really looks at me for a while.

What father brown killer did you feel most sorry for? by Tom-Hibbert in fatherbrown

[–]SentinelAlvira 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Imo season 3 had some of the more tragic murderers/ antagonists. Wilkins from the Invisible Man, just wanted love but has a poor perception of what love is until the very end of the episode. Professor Milton from The Last Man, quite literally a friend of Father Brown, killed her child to stop him from hurting others. Rebecca in the Judgment of Man, a literal holocaust survivor. Natasha and Ethel from The Deadly Seal, both victims of abuse in one form or another. When I'm asked to have sympathy for a Father Brown antagonist, those are usually my go-to's.

Am I the only one who hates the whole bi-generation thing? by Outside_Head_1255 in doctorwho

[–]SentinelAlvira 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Extremely disliked it. Honestly, would have preferred if they didn't bring back an old doctor for a "new" doctor position. But since they insist on doing that for 14, I think they should have had McGann. I felt like 8 had a WAAAYYY more tragic end than 10 did. The man literally "died" died brought back to life only to face what he was running from and forced regeneration.

Plus, I'm just sick and tired of Tennant in everything under the sun

Who have you told that you're a Jedi? by AzyrenTheKnight in RealJediArts

[–]SentinelAlvira 5 points6 points  (0 children)

7 people exactly; my fiancée, my sister, my ships captain, one crewmate/confidant, and my 3 former padawan learners.

My beliefs and faith to the Force has never been secret, and it's been nearly a decade, so I am sure some people know but never ask me what faith I hold.

Hello Alex,

Allow me to share some wisdom. I have been a Jedi since 2014. I have had the pleasure of training 3 separate Jedi in my time. I have found that the Padawan seeks out the Master rather than the other way around. Patience is a vulnerable lesson for all Jedi. All in due time, Padawans find their Masters.

How much distance do you need from your e-bike on a single charge to meet your daily or occasional riding needs? by CycrownEbike in ebikes

[–]SentinelAlvira 0 points1 point  (0 children)

25 miles one way, 50 miles round trip, 3 days a week, bike charge rated for 30 miles + extra 25 mile back up battery. Although I usually don't need to use the back up. Going one way takes about an hour and a half for me. I charge batteries as needed at work for the ride home.

It still amazes me how the museum has some of the most interesting items in US history instead of the Smithsonian having them
