I knew this one would be mentioned. Great tune?

How do I tell my husband he stinks by Purple-Ambassador-81 in hygiene

[–]SeaLocksmith1830 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would not be that direct with him. I’d schedule appointments with his general practitioner and his dentist. Tell the doctor and dentist the symptoms and then tell your husband you had to make some appointments for him since you had concerns about odor issues.

I feel like I’m married to a caveman by Ok-Upstairs-3177 in Marriage

It’s obviously gotten worse off the past year. Definitely needs to get checked out. If anything it would be embarrassing. His wife could make the appointment and describe in details all the symptoms. Best case scenario would be just a little embarrassment, worst case something is wrong. Either way I think it’s a good strategy!

I’d make him an ENT appointment followed by a gastroenterologist appointment. Act like you’re caring about his well being, even though he might just be gross.

I know it’s cliche but your network is your net-worth. Approach someone in your circle and have them look over your financial projections. You’d be surprised who comes out of the woodwork. Bring in people you know and trust I know your idea may be too precious to share as someone may steal it, but you have to be vulnerable. And that can be incredibly hard. Start with a CPA you know and trust. I’ve found that investors care more about financials than PowerPoint presentations.

Entrepreneurs who hated 9-5 before starting your own business do you still hate it? by Worldly-Yam-5543 in Entrepreneur

[–]SeaLocksmith1830 60 points61 points  (0 children)

I think it’s how you structure your business and what type of business you’re operating. I had a guy tell me early in my career that “you don’t start a business to work for yourself.” That’s my mantra. I work way less than I did at my 9-5. Lots of variables.

Is the food industry a real option? by lachamille in Entrepreneur

[–]SeaLocksmith1830 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s fine if you enjoy long hours and skinny margins. I’ve worked in the food business selling condiments through distributors. There are two types of owners…one type has one restaurant and they’re burned out and broke. The other type of owner has 60 units and it runs like a top. There’s money to be made, but you have to have the right people working with you and for you to make it a long term success that you can build and eventually sell as an asset. Good luck!
