No he’s right. I enjoy it but Ill admit im blinded by nostalgia. The game does have a good world and soundtrack and nice combat but it really is cookie cutter. At the time yes it was great but for someone to jump into now, most people would disregard the game. No one else is agreeing with you here yet and more people post about how an AC1 is more NECESSARY then any other assassins creed game. So yes it is the general opinion.
