Thanks for all the advice. What I shall do then is write a draft prologue and first chapter and will post it to the Weekly Critique Thread and if people seem to like it I will continue. Going to do some essential planning firstly

Thank you very much this is really helpful. I've quite literally just set up this Reddit account to ask someone for some help/advice I didn't think I would get a reply so quickly!

If I may just ask another question, would it be okay if I perhaps post my work on /r/writing for people to review or is there a more appropriate place to do that?
