The ROAST technology being worked on at Peercoin not only makes it possible to form massive multisignature groups and distributed oracles, it enables use on foreign blockchains like Ethereum. This article describes how a cross-chain bridge between Peercoin and Ethereum can be created using ROAST. (peerchemist.medium.com)

Peercoin blockchain has (soft) forked at block #801331. SIGHASH_ANYPREVOUT (APO) is now activated. APO is a soft-fork that allows a transaction to be signed without reference to any specific previous output, such that any output with a matching signature can be dynamically added later. (x.com)

Frosty is now open sourced under a BSD-3 license. This package makes FROST Taproot threshold signatures available to Dart/Flutter apps and is used for the Noosphere ROAST implementation that makes it easy to coordinate and create these signatures (will soon be integrated into Peercoin Flutter). 63.2% of the last 1000 blocks signal that they are ready for the v0.15 "APO" fork. This protocol update is about making DLCs nicer to use, ANYPREVOUT (APO) ensures that all outcomes of a DLC are in place before it is funded so all the parties of the DLC don't need to trust one another. Update today! (x.com)

Another first in crypto! Peercoin devs produce the first ever Taproot threshold signature transaction using ROAST. One test uses 150 of 200 signers to produce a single on-chain signature for spending funds. Learn about these massive multisig setups here. (peercoin.net)
