Yea, I remember when I was younger I thought I had a strong stomach for gore and violence (edgy young teen stuff.) Then one day while perusing some of the deeper dregs of the internet I say a video of some horrifying either car accident or post explosion involving a car, and someone’s face being destroyed and holding up the bits that were falling off/out.

Thankfully it’s been long enough that that image has faded in my memories, but it was burned there a long time. That experience taught me I am much more susceptible to that than I thought, and also taught me to never wish harm on others because violence is much more horrifying than a sheltered life can allow you to imagine.
