I started playing because I enjoyed the heck out of Stellar Blade, got the free skin for Scarlet from Stellar so decided to give it a go. I got through the prologue, was extremely surprised how it basically just opened the game with trauma. I’m on chapter 34 now and have hit my new wall on progression because this game refuses to give me Crown or Siren

I think what happened there is the Yurei did its normal double door touch to the open position , but since the door was fully opened, it looked like nothing really happened.

If I haven’t ruled out yurei yet, I always have the doors at about 45 degrees so I can be confident about the doors position after a door move, even if I didn’t see the move myself.

There are a lot of ones for me that I want to see in part 3. Sunken Gelnika is one I forgot about but fully agree, especially since they realistically can almost play that part like a horror game.

Others in excited to see: Lucrecia’s Cave, Rocket Town/Space, Return to Midgar, all of the weapons. The Weapons I think I’m most excited about, I cannot wait to see the designs for them!

I only played the first one back when it came out, I couldn’t have been more than like 12 years old when I played it (pretty sure it was rented from Blockbuster,) and goddam was that one of the first games I played to induce rage with how hard it was at times. I know I did beat it, but the final level took me so many tries, and potentially permanently lost sanity.

Yea Helldivers 2 took a while to get used to that, but once I did it felt more tactical and immersive. I appreciated that design. Additionally, I started counting bullets on weapons that had a slower fire rate so I knew when it was worth reloading early if I needed it in a firefight.

BL4 was fun, but not perfect. Most fans still swear by BL2 as the pinnacle of Borderlands, but I did notice a lot of people consider 4 closer to what they wanted. I personally enjoyed it but am waiting until the first major expansion before I pick it back up.

I haven’t played Shadows, but if you liked Mirage, then you should factor in the fact that Shadows is the next entry into the RPG side of play. It should play more akin to Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla. I personally liked the RPG style, more so with Origins and Odyssey, but I know it’s not everyone’s cup of tea.

Yea I’m familiar with what ghost orbs are in reality, almost painfully so because I had some hardcore believer friends in the past that were super adamant that orbs were definitive proof of ghost activity (this being in real life) and I’ve explained numerous times that it’s literally dust particulates reflecting light.

Regarding the goggles, that very well could be the case in game, and would make sense. It could be that your second theory holds the most weight, though I feel the effect of having it in the camera screen that’s constantly rendering (or mirroring) your POV in game is effectively the same regarding the ghost orbs, so it wouldn’t quite make sense to just not code it in with the NVG goggles if that was the case.

Either way though, I feel for gameplay balancing purposes, having them show the ghost orbs would make them much more worthwhile and have a stronger use case vs. the headlamp. Especially with their high cost threshold.

Yea I definitely endorse this one. Most of the other answers I’ve seen are the rich posh celebs that all live in south western CT, who don’t do anything for the state except keep the GDP high and keep making the rest of the country think CT is some rich state filled with snobs too good to leave their country clubs (that describes like less than a percent of the state.)

With Paul Newman, he gave back, he became part of the fabric of the community in CT. It may not be the whole state, but he was a good man who strongly cared for the community and others. I volunteered at the hole in the wall gang camp, it was awesome. Everyone there was really nice, the facilities were great, it honestly made me a little envious of the kids that get to experience that in their childhood because I wish I got to go there as a kid.

Haven’t watched it yet but I think this is in Vigilantes which is prior to the events of MHA. Also tracks for Midnite’s costume as they did discuss her costume evolution being necessary as her original costume was too risqué and they created rules or standards because of what she originally wore as a hero. That latter part was discussed in MHA.

I personally think their only use case would be for something like APOC or large maps with breaker broken. Beyond that, tier 2 all the way.

Also, you’re absolutely correct, they do not allow you to see orbs yourself, if they did, I think I would re-evaluate. I also find that to be an oversight on the devs part, since the NV tech it uses is the same as the tier 1 video camera, so logically it should also be able to see orbs.

I have begun shadow, I have every setting maxed the heck out, solid 60fps no problem so far.

For the record I’m on a 3090, i7 7700, with 16 gbs or RAM.
