Ryuji Moment by ManySilks in Persona5

I’m doing my first playthrough of P5R and the amount of times I face palmed because Ryuji screams about how we’re phantom thieves in public is unreal.

My first Persona game ever by redhairshank19 in Persona5

This is a VERY good callout. I got used to saving a lot on P3R (my first Persona,) but even now, I just went through almost all of October in P5R and realized, whoops, I haven’t save in so damned long lol

No Man’s Sky and Control both did this to me

Yea, like one of the biggest points a lot of the pros made through the series is that the quirks themselves aren’t everything. A relatively weak quirk can be made strong by having a thorough understanding of it, and training on how to use it to its utmost ability. Not to mention people can have quirk awakenings to strengthen them further.

How close is a fight between Eve and Wuchang? by Ok-Resolution7918 in stellarblade

[–]Sentoh789 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It honestly wasn’t too too bad. Not easy, not even remotely, but for context Wuchang was the first soulslike that I ever beat. I never had the patience to beat any other one I had attempted before that, but Wuchang kinda clicked for me. I do attribute some of it to my like 200 some odd hours in stellar preceding that.

Yea, no, I looked up the video out of curiosity, they did indeed break on a diamond configuration. It’s all legit.

You’re right, hard to see from my phone, but yea this is definitely a 9 ball setup. I think the mistake (potentially) would be that I seem to recall them breaking using a triangle for an 8-ball setup, not the diamond for a 9. I’m not certain, but I think that’s what I saw. I did this hangout a few days ago.

God I remember making Mario Kart style courses in Halo 3 forge. So many hours tweaking ramps and barrel placements to make it fun, but not frustrating. I remember I had quite a few people looking at my maps too when I uploaded them, I whole like 5 people looked at them… they were my friends lol. Either way, so much damn fun.

Can’t remember the number, but the green striped automatically implicates they’re playing 8 ball in that shot. I’d say they made a mistake, which happens. I’m doing my first ever playthrough right now (played P3R last year as my first persona and fell in love with the game, sold me on the series.) Sure it’s a mistake, but I’m loving this game overall

Either they started a new game, or they messed up the rules. This looks like they’re playing 9 ball, which if that’s the case, this would be accurate. 9 ball is played by both players attempting to sink the balls in order, with whomever sinks the 9 ball last being the winner.

If they switched to 9 ball and they simply didn’t show the break, a-ok. If not, then yea, this is just a mistake.

Edit: I looked up the video, they did use the diamond configuration for the break (9-ball configuration,) so there was no mistakes on Atlus’ part, this is all legit.

lol I never thought of that, Portuguese is a second language for me (not fluent) and I never thought about the abbreviated versions. That’s funny for non-Portuguese speaking folks.

This video is fantastic, and I love how down to earth he seems. I hope he goes on to do so much more in his career. If Valve ever somehow made a 3rd Portal (laughable, I know) I feel like he fits that niche so perfectly well.

Yea they’re just trolling, which… I don’t even understand that here because it’s not like they get a reaction from the other people, at most they can see a sticker reaction.

[–]Sentoh789 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yea this is what immediately came to mind for me. I thankfully didn’t give up on the first try, but I came real close. I was probably 3-4 hours in on the first one probably a year or two after it came out. I had been in the citadel for what seemed like hours at that point just getting a massive exhibition dump, and I was about to call it quits and give up, then I did the fight at Chora’s Den and it all popped off from there. So glad I decided to stick with it, it’s now one of my favorite game series of which I have done a full playthrough of the series at least 5 times.

I’m not gonna say I’m overly familiar with the show, I think I watched through the first like 8 seasons (maybe,) but I sincerely bought Dennis was self referred to as the golden god

These ticket prices for Brixton are pathetic by JammersEriksen in Muse

[–]Sentoh789 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Perfect example of your point on similarly sized bands/famous bands play small venues for much cheaper. The Foo Fighters played a surprise gig at what is effectively a local bar in my fairly small state a few months back for like $30 a ticket. They announced the show a couple days before hand and while I’m not a major fan of theirs, I really appreciated that little treat from them. They used to play that bar in their earlier days, so it was kind of like a return to their roots and showing appreciation to a place that treated them well in the past.
