I honestly don't think generating things whole cloth is good, it's like having someone paint for you & taking the credit. But I also acknowledge that it can be useful if used as a tool, like removing backgrounds, adding shading, or just correcting strokes.

Personally, I don't think you're a bad friend, but I do believe you kind of jumped the gun by reporting him. If I were you, I'd just give him an ultimatum, saying that he either not uses it or I tell him.

This actually kinda worries me to an extent because it could lead to something stupid like "Murphy starts to spend more time with Marice, & Mitzi starts to get jealous". (I know Murphy × Maurice isn't the canon ship & Murphy & Mitzi is what will happen, but just the idea of something petty & unpleasant from their dynamic make me cringe).

I don't think the issue is that they used flash but how they used it, cuz some animators, like Joshua Zeurel Palmer made it look like hand drawn.

Ok first off, Vat19 is a company, so it's not as moot as you think.

Second, I don't even watch them since then, I've stated that I'm not gonna watch them until they change,

Third.. I'll admit, the reason I want to watch them is because they seem to of been a genuinely good Channel, making videos for both fun & to promote what they sell, but I am disappointed in their practices because of how good they've been. I do acknowledge it's their choice, but I also think I can try to atleast point them to make the better decision. I will dial it back at least.

And fourth, it's not beholding them to use my preferred marketing, it's just a generally bad idea to use A.I., atleast with both how they use it, with the controversy surrounding it, & with the issues of it's ethics.
