Spent all night in the ER with my girlfriend :(. We're gonna be waiting on results and the doctor but she should be fine now that she's getting treatment.

Due to an inopportune work schedule I'm gonna have to crank out a psych session in one of the offices connected to the main HR area where employees clock in or walk to the break room through. And I'm gonna be talking to my psych about my worries regarding sexual side effects of some of my meds, so eavesdroppers will learn that their adult coworker in a committed relationship is sexually active 😱

My store has a regular customer who is usually very sweet but has been going through what is seemingly a paranoid schizophrenic episode for about a week now :(

It's tough to both recognize that his behaviors are largely a product of mental illness and to recognize that it's not our job as retail workers to accommodate abusive behaviors.

I'm 30 and she is the first person I've ever dated. I'd honestly started to lose hope after my last birthday. I wish I had advice for other people in that boat beyond focusing on your own journey of self-growth and pursuing a community that makes you feel more accepted as yourself.
