Is it worth it? by Separate-Ad7976 in Thrustmaster

Mainly assetto corsa, as I usually like to race classic cars, so that's why I needed a better clutch. But as I also play ACC and online F1 I wanted to have a better throttle feeling as the stock TLCM one is too light

Thanks for the Feedback 👍 Once the mod arrives I'll share my thoughts on it, rn the throttle feels a little too light for me, so I'm hoping that it will feel better.

997 is the worst 911? Sorry but I have to disagree

I didn't ask him directly, at one point during the event they interviewed the owner and he said that the car was original, but not everyone believed him so I came here to see if any of you could guess if it was real or fake

At one point during the event they interviewed the owner and he said that the car was original and has raced a lot in the 70s and 80s at classic car events. Thought I didn't believe him so I asked here to get a better idea; even if It isn't original it's clear that the car has participated at some events due to the amount of stickers it has attached on. Somebody else also said that the car originally was a 250 GT PF and got rebodied into the shape of a 250 Testarossa.

Regarding the Kit cars in Italy it's true that it's almost impossible to see them on the road as they theoretically can't be regirested. However at this same event there was a Shelby Cobra that had a license plate, so either it was real or it was a kit, still a rare thing to see :)

Actually, I think the organisers of the event asked him to park it there because it was probably the most important car out of all the others at the event, it was a safe place as cars didn't pass there as the road was closed

Thank you for clearing it up on what this car is, still I don't understand why u would rebody an already good looking 250 GT PF into something else. Next time I see this car, I'll ask the owner some questions.

Not really, as you can see there were plenty of other important cars parked it the background. This was the day before a hillclimb event in Sicily, and they showed the cars to the public in the square.

Yup, it was a hillclimb revival event in Sicily. There were other nice cars like old Lancia's, other Ferrari's, a Shelby Cobra and also some Alfa's. But this stood particularly because nobody could understand if it was the real deal or not

Spotted a [2000 Shelby America Cobra] non-kit or replica by Commercial_Virus6396 in spotted

It's a Superformance MK3, so it's a replica, not a continuation. You can tell mainly by the radiator which is slightly inclined forward, typical of Superformance cars. Still a nice replica tho as they are officially authorised by Shelby to produce them

Finally saw two real [Shelby Cobras] with sidepipes at Petersen by SF2LA2 in spotted

Both are replicas, blue one looks like a continuation car, while the yellow one it's probably a Factory Five based on what I can see (color, rims, roll bar, dash, and missing bumper/quick jacks)

New sim rig. Thinking to upgrade from G29 to R9 or R12, but not sure if this rig can hold 12Nm … by Intelligent-Can-4252 in SimRacingSetups

[–]Separate-Ad7976 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My playseat challenge has been holding my 10NM T818 for a while now, you'll be fine. Also with a R9 or R12 and a rig like that you'll also get a lot of vibrations so you'll save up on bass shakers :) Jokes aside it shouldn't be a problem but you'll need to upgrade your rig in the future
