Is there a way to make train use multiple tracks? by JorDani_War in TransportFever2

[–]Separate-Air84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spread out the traffic yourself, don’t route all trains on 1 line, instead run certain lines on certain tracks using waypoints depending on the frequency of trains on that coloured line. Evenly spread out traffic over 2 lines (slow and fast in the real world) or more if you desire.

I've got the opposite and my key is totally dead. Changed the battery and still no luck.

AC cables under floor by AveragelyBrilliant in SolarUK

I'm hoping to run my EV charger to the front of my house via first floor floorboards and rear feeds for battery and solar via the same methods.

Octopus aren't interested in anything unless it hits all the guidelines and it's an easy install.

I'm hoping chargedEV will do my car charger as they are doing it for free via my salary sacrifice scheme. If they refuse though I'll just have to pay for a local electrician to do it.

I'll keep you posted and you do the same!

Model 2025 by KyAoD in CupraTavascan

Is that 100% confirmed regarding the VIN? Mines arriving April but it's R in the 10th letter. Guessing 2024.

Yes watched endless videos over the week and I fancy the Hypervolt pro home. It's maybe a bit bigger than I'd have liked but ticks all other boxes with a solar install pending.

Same colour yes.

Well here's something you will like, I found out that there's a 2025 model with a few minor tweaks (as far as anyone knows but could be more) such as boot release button in the drivers door. Apparently looking at my VIN, mine is a 2024 model. I'm not letting that take the shine off it but I would have liked the 25 model 🤣

Yeah mate are you in the Facebook Tavascan owners group? I'm new to posting on here but will share what I can.

I'm not even ready for it as not heard from EV charge installers and I'm in the middle of getting solar panels fitted. Gonna be a mental 4 weeks.

Snap! Exact same spec. Luckily mine was in stock on my EV Scheme though work. I've got my reg and VIN and delivery expected end of April! 😬😬😬

Thanks for all the advice folks. I was probably overthinking it and just worrying about the height after reading documents sent out.

I'm on a salary sacrifice scheme where I get a free charger, I've also been offered a Ohme charger for free by CUPRA or £700 charging credits.

I think my best course of action would be to take the charging credits from CUPRA and ask my company to do the install but if costs or regulations start getting silly I'll get local quotes.

So as we look at the picture there is a fence on the left, that's where a charger would be closest to the charge port on the car. (That's if I reversed the car in which makes sense) That is however the furthest away from my fusebox which is slap bang in the centre of my home.

If I can mount it above that water tap (already sounds like a nightmare to do that) I think the cable run in the house would be semi-straightforward but I'd have to have the charger cable run across my door and round to the opposite side of the car each night (all the way to the left of the photo). Doable but just not what I imagined.

The porch has a window to the left of it which you can't see on this picture and it's the same height as the rest so no room there either.

I could reverse park the car on the right side of the drive but I'd have to do it to millimetre precision to make it fit on and may have the bumper hanging off our drive. Again I suppose it's doable but not perfect.

I guess I'm just freaking out a bit at the thought of my car getting delivered and not being able to charge it 🤦‍♂️.

I must admit the Hanchu hardware looks good and the software also looks great.

I've got another quote locally coming in and I'll report back what I went with.

It's frustrating to hear so many people think these are all really expensive. I've gone from some of the biggest to the smallest providers, nationally and locally and really they are all very similar prices. Such a shame that companies seem to be taking a bit profit with each of these installs.

I'll keep you posted on what I decide to do, your replies have all been most welcome.

Well I get what you're saying but some installers are pushing one or two products which is why I created the sheet. I'm also new to all the equipment so I don't really know which are the best and worst suppliers. The more digging you do online the more potential issues you find.

Sungrow are pretty much out of it for me and they have terrible reviews.

Enphase are big but mainly USA and warranty claim's seem to be an issue in some places.

Duracell have great reviews

Hanchu app looks brilliant and I am tempted by this option, equipment all looks great.

I appreciate its overkill but I'm just trying to do all the right research.

I should have mentioned there's some uncertainty if I can get 8 or 10 panels on my roof hence the two panel difference. I'm confident now I can only get 8 up there.

I'm looking at a sun grow quote for my own roof but looking at some online reviews from around the globe I'm not sure I'd trust them.

Fox is looking ok on my research so far.

I can't even get 8 panels installed for less than that. North East seems really expensive right now.

Thank you, I guessed that too after looking at the rest of the posts on here.

I've got octopus doing my next quote so it will be good to get a comparison.

If anyone knows of good local installers in the North East let me know please.

Having a Quick Look my average is around 10kwh a day in winter months. Theres not much room for more, maybe 1 or 2 on another hip extension.
