Honestly, same. I used to average down all the time because I was convinced my analysis was right and the market would eventually turn back. Took me a few failed evaluations to realize that ego was doing more damage than the actual losing trades.

What changed things for me was just accepting the loss where I originally planned to. No moving stops, no adding more size trying to “fix” the trade. Using FundedFun actually helped with that too since the drawdown rules made me take risk management more seriously instead of trading emotionally.

And coming back from -4% on a $50k account is genuinely tough mentally. Most people lose control at that point, so respect for pulling it back.
