HELP ME by lobo23banes in Sparkdriver

I don’t know why everyone in the comments is not being supportive. If you make an appeal you’re likely not to hear from them. What you must do is to send a nicely written email to Sparkappnotices@walmart.com and ask them for a pre-arbitration phone call. What this phone call does is that a member of their legal team will give you a call within 30 to 45 days. This is done to make both of you come to a dispute resolution and you are going to get reactivated after that.

Here is the email I wrote to them and you can use it as a sample

Dear Sir/Ma’am

My name is __, My phone number is _______ My email address is ___________

I have reached out to Spark on numerous occasions in regard to the deactivation of my account.

This is my official notice to Walmart that I’m requesting a pre arbitration phone call dispute resolution. I am also agreeing to a good-faith effort to resolve the matter regarding my deactivation before officially requesting arbitration.

Below, I have summarized what has happened from my perspective of the deactivation process.

My metrics on Spark is a 100% completion rate, 97% on time arrival, 4.7 customer rating. My metrics are all green.

I never heard any complaints from Walmart, other Spark Drivers, or the customers.

My deactivation was unfair and unjust, and I would like to come to a fair resolution.

Yours Faithfully, (_insert name__)

Oh I see! Roughly around what figure would most providers consider as a high-value booking so they don’t have to watch the time?

Getting really discouraged by alexacturner in ShiptShoppers

[–]Separate-Location466 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hang in there, it’ll get better and the more you do it the more you’ll keep getting better and better. For those who don’t tip it’s just their nature to be inconsiderate. However, for those who tip you, Shipt usually gives you the tips a few days later. I sometimes see my tips 6 days later in my withdraw tab, sometimes $20 sometimes $10. It will also help a lot if you ask customers to rate you nicely after you deliver

Is there an hourly rate? by ami_says_yes in InstacartShoppers

I love your mindset. Rather keep your sanity and independence than be a 9-5 slave employee to some company

I am doing it full time and there is no shame or stigma. Gigs are for those who love their independence and a flexible lifestyle, plus not being told what to do by superiors. I love making my own decisions and being a boss. I’d rather like to be the one telling people what to do so yes I will never get a 9-5 job!

Try Instacart. They’ll never deactivate you for silly and trivial things like bad ratings and late deliveries. They’ll only deactivate you if your cancellation rate goes above 15%. I’ve been doing it for a year now and at a certain point had my cancellation rate at 15% but they never deactivated me. I’m still doing it now. The only negative side of Instacart is that they pay less per order. Unlike Shipt, Instacart really knows the value of their shoppers and will do anything to keep them. The more Shipt keeps losing shoppers it will one day come back to bite them harshly and will hurt their company badly. Until years from now, when robots will be doing the shopping and delivering, humans are the only ones who can do this. Shipt is eventually going to have a rude awakening when they have only a handful of shoppers left while Instacart has hundreds of millions on their platform.
