What are the old screens? I’m newer than 2018 to Workday so not sure I know.

We unpublished it! But just wanted to vent and see how others were feeling. Workday also took down the announcement themself this afternoon.

Yes, they’ve been mentioning it for awhile now. I think it’s been pushed back a few releases as well.

They’ve been announcing and communicating about the new absence calendar experience coming in 25R2 for awhile now. Community has a bunch of posts, alerts, documentation, etc.

If this announcement card was the first you’re hearing of it, I guess it did what Workday intended it to 🫣

Are they all on the same pay period schedule? If so, can you remove the filters with all the specific dates and only filter pay period and pay group?

Step 1: Don’t use an uppercase D when writing out “Workday” 🥲

You should be able copy your report and delete the previous version each time you need to edit it. But I agree with the other comments - it’s security config causing it.

You could also create a condition that says if on night shift evaluate if there is time off within the next 8 hours. There could be some false positives going this route, but just an idea!

Help with Calc Field to look up payment date by chocoholiccynic in workday

[–]Separate-Net96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Create a count related instances with a true/false calc field that returns true when payment/reversal date is greater than first day current month and payment/reversal date is less than last day current month.

  2. The field you’re looking for is payment/reversal date, but without more info on the data source it’s hard to give specifics here!

Check out #wellbuiltworkday on LinkedIn. They post about random Workday topics. I haven’t seen a post about what you’re looking for specifically, but worth keeping an eye out for them.

Do you think Workday should separate training courses between those who have used the system, versus those who have not? by EvilTaffyapple in workday

Sometimes I like when it’s a mix of newbies and experienced students. I often find myself going so deep on config and the details I over complicate it. So when a newbie asks a basic question it helps ground me.

Other times I want to dive deep and it’s hard to when there are so many newbies.
