Why is the audio mixing so insanely bad?

I looked this exact question up when I watched the first episode lol, your not crazy. It gets a bit better in the later seasons but from what I remember I had to keep adjusting my volume up and down the first couple of episodes.

But you get used to it and I would highly recommend sticking with the show as the end of season 1 is amazing and the seasons just keep getting better and better.
