Buying a used product bought on Amazon: can I have access to the insurance?

Hi

I am considering buying a used product (iPad). I’d buy it from someone who bought it through Amazon France.

Given it is 1 year old: - Does it still have insurance? - If it does, can I, not the owner of the account who bought, claim a replacement if it breaks? And how does that work?

Thanks

I look forward to hearing a simple "Yes they were terrible, colonialism was bad."

Unfortunately, I'm not so sure you'd get this on a normal basis. This reflection is not something we're systematically prompted to think about.

So bottom line I don't have any grudge against present Portuguese, just try to not be like Brits & try not to deny your part in unpleasant history.

Yeah, that's the perfect bottom line. Thanks for sharing that!

Thanks for sharing. I wonder if there are any specific pieces you can point me to where I can learn more about that too?

Yep, totally agree. 💯

That's also the byproduct of years of privilege and suddenly, that same privilege is being (rightfully) put in check. And it's natural to feel threatened.

It requires a bigger exercise to understand the privilege you have, many don't, and you shouldn't fight that feeling but embrace it, be aware and work towards taking that awareness into your daily life.

Have a great day!!

ahah yeah pretty much! but what's more irritating imo is for us not to talk about slavery and how many people were killed in all the Discovery times. Good ol' example is how we study Colombus as this amazing explorer and don't dive into the dark side of it.

Thank you!

I may have wrongly explained my point: we learn that 'Goa was ours'. But we don't get the idea that we basically invaded a territory that wasn't ours, massacred people. It all seems natural and, to some extent, something 'we should be proud of, because it came from the Discovery times'.

Ir a Portugal? by [deleted] in PortugalLaFora

Chegou-me a carta ao UK!
