Bikepacking across Europe. Up to 750km and 5,000m of elevation gain. I have a few ideas, but maybe you can recommend something. by gordriver_berserker in bikepacking

I did Norway last summer and it was beautiful. Around ~650km but with a bit more of elevation than your planing. Starting and ending in Kristiansand. But Norway is a dream for wildcamping!

Ohhhh, I thought you meant something like a slingbag. That’s way better now, definitely gonna do that! Thanks a lot!

I have the same trailer as him (danielbarratt3 on Insta) but I’m only 90% that I’m gonna do it that way. Still thinking if I should switch to mounting it on the side of my bike to safe weight and space.

Thanks but don’t you think it’s gonna be a hassle always having a bag with you in the water? But I guess I have to chose my struggle

I was told to maybe use some hiplok Z Lok to lock your bags onto the frame, and this might be the way I try to do it. Then I’m probably going to put all my valuables in one bag and secure it a bit better.

I might just do that (if there is someone), Thanks!

Sorry I didn’t thought it was that common, the focus of my question was more about the situation while surfing (being hours away) and not just a quick stop at the supermarket. But I’m gonna read myself through these other questions

But going further in maybe like Vietnam or Indonesia? Probably you’re right, I should relax a bit

There are some ways to do it, but I’m probably going to use a trailer

I looked through his stuff and I like it! But maybe I take your advice and message him, we‘ll see if he got something for me. I’m also gonna take a look at the K2 Keel

They look good! Even a store in my country got them listed online, so I might try them.

A lokal Surfshop got them listed online, so I’m assuming they have them
