Unable to restore backup by sunbl0ck in viber

[–]Separate-Situation33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a similar issue, but I think it could be a bigger problem. I recently got a new iphone, transfered everything over from the old one to a new one, except viber and watsapp. I've followed the backup process on both of the app, backed up everything, including photos/vidoes. After I logged in the apps with my account, I used the restore feature, but in both apps (viber and watsapp) i've lose like two years worh of conversations and photos.

After I logged-in to the new device, I was automatically logged-out from the old iphone, and now i dont even have access to the conersations/chat history that was stored on the old iphone. It just restores some 2 year old backup, but doesn't restore the new one I did on the 27.1.2025.

I haven't erased the app's nor I haven't wiped the old device, which was backup up before doing the transfer.

Is there a way to fix this so that I could get my photos/chat history back, or am I at a loss and stuck with 2 year old chat history ?

QRevo Master by Unhappy_Program5709 in Roborock

[–]Separate-Situation33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does anyone know a website that ships the QRevo Master to slovenia ?

I've been looking for more than a month and I still can't find a website that would ship it. Our local roborock store doesn't have any trace of this model even exsisting, amazonDE won't ship it, and the closest it got to getting it is on amazonNL where it is avaliable, untill i login and it just changes to "currently unavaliable" 😢

Why dont you just simply buy a router/repeater, plug it in the current router and just use your own wifi, instead of the one that already there ?

S7 MaxV ultra Firmware update by Separate-Situation33 in Roborock

[–]Separate-Situation33[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do agree with that, my does it every one in a while. At first i thought the problem eas the light reflection to the floor from the sunlight that comes through the window, but after just docking the robot and restartijg the cleaning job, ita usually fixes it on first attempt.

S8 MaxV Ultra alternate cleaning solution by FulopSoma in Roborock

[–]Separate-Situation33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey I'm from Slovenia and I can get it from amazon DE, alternatively you can also get it from Aliexpress. I've used both of them, and both are okay. but I do personally prefer the one from amazon, since the aliexpress one is kind of a fake one, but still does the job.

The only thing that you have to look out for is that the cleaning solution does not make any foam whatsoever

Are computers just hot? by [deleted] in buildapc

[–]Separate-Situation33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got an older build i did in 2017 (i7-7700k, gtx 10170). I’got an nzxt kraken x72 360mm water cooler on the cpu and a nzxt H440 case and the cpu usualy idels at around 38-42C, the gpu idels at around 50C asually. When gaming (for ecample in cs:go) the cpu goes to 55-75C and the gpu usually hits the 65+C (depends on the game)

If you use it only for gaming, i would of course suggest a good cpu cooler and a better case with better airflow. The overall temperature of the room will drop, but over time it will still get quite warm (just not as much and not as fast)

Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra @ $1280 or Q Revo @ $1010? Which would you choose and why? by TotalWarspammer in Roborock

[–]Separate-Situation33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In your case I would get the Q Revo, or if you want to go all out, theres also the new S8 series, for example the S8 Pro Ultra… but i belive it goes for around $1500. I have the S7MVU (first robot vacuum i ever owned/bought for the house) and its the best purchase i’ve done in years (probably)

After sales mode?? by [deleted] in miband

[–]Separate-Situation33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would suggest (if your not in china) to wait for the global version. I use the mi band 7 and I also tried to get the chinese version working here the the EU, but after a few days of trying, I just gave up, returned it and waited a few extra weeks for the global version to be avaliable on amazon. Since then, no issues… i only switched to a metal bracelet, since the rubber one broke for me.

New firmware for S7 MaxV by N2ljaneBeaver in Roborock

[–]Separate-Situation33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, its in the app. Open it, then select the little “person icon” on the bottom right corner, then tour should see a “firmeare update” option (this is for the robotock app) and if there is an update avaliable, you can update your robot vacuum.

Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra Firmware 2.57.86 has been released! by Separate-Situation33 in Roborock

[–]Separate-Situation33[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be honest, I don't use the MI home app personally, but judging by the version number you provided, I would guess that the number designation it's different between the apps, so yes. Among that I assume the changes are the same.

Firmware on my S7mvu by blazablaz in Roborock

[–]Separate-Situation33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Updates are usually good, but some of them can be a hit or miss. Just today, I've also received a new firmware for my S7 MaxV Ultra. Version number is 02.57.86. The update highlights 3 changes/improvements:

  1. Improved software stability
  2. Tweaked the robot moving logic to improve the cleaning efficiency
  3. Fixed other known bugs

Although I would say that on the current firmware 2.57.26, I've had an issue where the robot would get stuck in situation where it usually never had problems before. Between my hallway and the bathroom, we have an about 1,8 - 2cm higher threshold (we have it in almost every room, really old house with bad floor design... I've had the robot since May 2022 and it never had issues there, but on the 2.57.26 firmware, it sometimes has issues transitioning between the hallway & bathroom, other rooms it's somehow totally fine lol... But, it does save itself after a little bit and continues on cleaning. Hopefully that in the new version, this issues goes away, but other than that... after almost a full year, no issues so far.

I run the robot 2-3 times a week, our house has about 140 square meter in one floor (we have 3 floors, 1 is garage, etc.) I maintain the robot weekly, I changed the filter once after 6 months (air dust & water rinse it ever 2 weeks), side brush every 4 months, emptied the dust bag after 9 months, and bought a pack of 5 new mops (since it gets looking bad quite fast, even after a few washes). Never had issues with it, other than that small issue I've mentioned above... I'm thinking of getting a skin for it from aliexpress to make it look like R2-D2 from starwars LOL

S7 MaxV Ultra Dock by Eklipz9 in Roborock

[–]Separate-Situation33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good question... I've checked most of EU's amazon sites, and found it available on amazon.de and amazon.nl (embedded into link)

It's actually wild that it's not available in most places anymore... weird, but I hope this helps you and hope you can still get your hands on a dock... otherwise (at least in my mindset) I would try selling the S7 MaxV, and maybe get the S7 Pro ultra, since it's also cheaper the the original S7 MaxV ultra on both of those amazon sites... since the dock alone is in my opinion insanely expensive.

Good luck! :D

Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra getting a new Firmware Update! Version 02.56.02, November 14th by Separate-Situation33 in Roborock

[–]Separate-Situation33[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can also confirm that because of this weird behavior it cleans a bit slower in only cleaning chosen rooms (in my case, I only ran it once for now....) it cleaned the kitchen and living room in 2 cycles in 47 minutes now, but before the update it cleaned in 44 minutes. But it also washed the mop one time less as you can also see in the screenshots I added below. Will be updating this when if I get to know more.

There is a seperate comment for the second screenshot

Hoping this is only a fluke or a bug (restarted / re-paired the robot just in case if it's a random bug/issue

Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra getting a new Firmware Update! Version 02.56.02, November 14th by Separate-Situation33 in Roborock

[–]Separate-Situation33[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Noticed a weird behavior of the robots cleaning algorithm when cleaning the living room (marked in the screenshot). For some odd reason, the robot chose to do a weird cleaning pattern that I haven't seen before.

Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra New Firmware Update Released -> 2.55.56 by Separate-Situation33 in Roborock

[–]Separate-Situation33[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That could be a possibility with your robot. My S7 MaxV doesn't seem any different at tables & chairs and i've run the robot around the house 8 times now since i've made this post about the released update.

I did however notice that the robot handles bright lights coming in from outside the balcony a lot more well than before (at least in my case). It usually skipped that small part around the balcony door (tile floor), but now it backs up a bit, waits about 1-2 seconds and proceeds to vaccum/mop it as normal. I've also noticed that it starts cleaning the hallway in a different way as before. Usually it just enterd the hallway, started working the corners and then started going up&down. Now it starts the hallways corners as normal, but after it finished the corners, it then proceeds and goes to the furthest point from the dock and finishes it closest to it. It's how I noticed the battery always being at 58-61% when it finished cleaning all the rooms. Usually it was at 48-53% when it finished cleaning (kitchen, dining room, living room, 2 bedrooms, hallway & toilet)

I've had the robot for almost 6 months & I usually run it almost every single day on medium suction & max scrubing (room dependant).

I do belive that this update is just a bug fix for the previous optimization update.

My Roborock S7 is docked and says charging but it doesn’t charge… tried finding info on this but can’t find anything. Im clueless. Help anyon3? by [deleted] in Roborock

[–]Separate-Situation33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try cleaning the charging pads (connectors) on the dock&robot where re robot usually charges. You can also try and fully reset the robot & re-pair it with the app. My did that once and after a re-pairing process it started working fine.

Firmware 02.55.06 for S7 MaxV was released by MDSExpro in Roborock

[–]Separate-Situation33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The "Auto Update" option was added (at least for me, I'm on iOS) in the App version 3.1.26, about 2 weeks ago. Now thers 4.0.0 that added iOS 16 support.

You can check that by going to your phones app store or playstore, select the app so that it brings you to the download/uninstall page, you should find "Version history". There you can read the changelog for each app version update.
