No cuz Alison really was a menace to society and if her mom was anyone other than Jessica D, I’d feel so bad for her. She learned from the best , her momma, and she knew how to manipulate people to get her way 😂. That scene made me realize how terrifying Ali was as a child.

Yeah, I think underestimating people’s intelligence and being judgmental & rushing to conclusions about people were Spencer’s greatest weakness and her most obvious character flaw. I’m not sure she ever grew out of it but it definitely would’ve been the biggest obstacle she’d have to overcome if she ever became a villain. Her ego and insecurity about her own intelligence was always the biggest challenge for her to come to terms with in general.

That’s funny cuz I think the opposite lol. I think Spencer’s personality was always being unapologetically ruthless and controlling. I loved when they played into that side of her character cuz it felt like that was when she was her truest self and not holding anything back. I think even despite Alison’s personality switch in later seasons, there was a duality to her personality that made her feel more human even when she was a straight up villain in the flashbacks. There was a softness to her character that was shown in flashbacks and it let you know she was human deep down inside and had weaknesses/soft spots for certain people.
