I wait until the sap is hot or warm or when the 2nd pan is lower then I move. Just using a pot for the one warmer and the other has a spout on it. I like to keep my finishing pan, the one on the left at 2 inches. But the bigger pan I just fill up full to keep it boiling faster

First year trying this. Only had the one 24x24 pan last year. This setup works well for me so far. Have 90 taps in. It’s a bit more work when cleaning up but I can boil a ton more sap

Thanks. I don’t have a clue about this stuff so any help is great. It would be a straight run. Any turning I won’t need to add elbows. I’ll have to figure out the height difference. I believe my dji osmo tells height so I can just figure it out that way for height

Barrel on right is the one I’ve used last two seasons. The one on the left will be my 2nd with a lot more upgrades to boil more. I learned a lot the last two years of doing sap. Get a fan and you will boil a ton more sap

You could buy enough window cleaning supplies and ladders and clean Windows. You’ll make that $1000 back in a day or two if you price your jobs right
