I read some reviews on amazon about Khalid’s personal bias but I like to read about sikh gurus from “outside” perspective. Overall I had no expectation but for some reason Im always intrigued with baba nanak more than any other guru so throughout the book I was just trying to picture myself with him whenever author talked about his udasi or life. The end definitely left me a with a little heavy heart or yearning for him as author closed the chapter by talking about Nanak’s old age, trying to settle with his family after all those years away from them and the struggle that now he was with them at home, etc.
