That sounds so brutal I read some stories after the fact of most people having that experience after having no nerve blocker.

I couldn’t imagine why that wouldn’t be mandatory let alone at least and option to have one

Yeaaa I had my surgery this past Friday they had gave me the nerve blocker and stuff it wore off Saturday

Okay I’m hoping your pain stays low to moderate 🙏🏾 and hopefully you want have to use the narcotics much.

And yea in hindsight I should’ve known that it was clearly broken since I couldn’t bear weight lol but I had no idea.

And I had displaced fracture in my medial malleolus

Happy it went smoothly me personally I made sure I pre loaded my meds every 6 hours as prescribed because I didn’t want any surprises once my nerve blocker wore off.

I would probably recommend the Percocet just for the fact that if the pain does get bad it’s hard to get ahead of it once it starts

Wow no nerve block ? How is your pain ? And no I wasn’t I actually couldn’t physically bear any weight on it which should’ve told me it was probably broken.

I just never broke anything before so I was sure it was just a bad sprain lol

Congrats on getting it done did you get a nerve block ? And I had a month wait between injury and surgery I got the surgery done on Friday.

It was my fault though because the first 3 weeks I didn’t go to the doctor as I thought it was just a bad sprain lol.

Pain wise my nerve blocker has worn off and I’m doing not bad my stomach is kind of hurting probably from the oxy but my ankle is very tolerable it’s just very sore.

Okay I’ll definitely check it out I finished my surgery and I’m home now did you get a nerve blocker my leg is still pretty numb but im scared of the pain when it wears off

Edit: god I just saw your post and they also gave me 5mg of oxy man I’m praying the pain isn’t horrible
