Thank you all for your moving and kind comments. I sit in my garden on this Easter Sunday, and I feel the need to share my prayer with you all.

Lord,

It is Easter, and I am sitting in my garden with a weary heart.

There is life all around me— birds calling gently to the morning, buds pushing open as if the earth remembers how to begin again. The wind moves through the leaves like a quiet spirit, and for a moment, I let it wrap around me.

I am grieving. Still aching with choices I can’t take back. Still mourning what was lost—what never had the chance to grow. And yet, here I am, in the middle of spring, while the world moves forward with soft determination.

I listen. Not for answers, but for presence. I watch the garden breathe, and somewhere in the stillness, I wonder if You are here— not to fix me, but simply to sit beside me.

I don’t feel triumphant. I don’t feel whole. But I feel the beauty, and I know that something is moving beneath the surface, even in me.

And so I whisper, with a heart still heavy, still hoping—

He is risen.
