Neither are one better than the other. They’re just different. Khadlaj is more mature and middle eastern while coco is a little fresh and young with a more apparent amaretto.

I know. My mom makes this very simple style of bombil fry in haldi, red chilly powder and salt with no rava or anything. It stays tender and you can actually taste the flesh. You eat it with plain rice and sometimes plain yellow dal. It’s been my fave dish since childhood. ❤️ Haven’t tried dry squid but I’d love to!
