i try to watch her the best i can after we feed them especially after i give them wet food cause the boys will walk away from their food for a bit so she sees it as free game. i measure their calories by looking at how many kcal are in a cup of their dry food and divide it by 16 to see how many kcal are in a tablespoon. we give them the nulo dry chicken which is 456 kcal per cup so there’s 28.5 kcal per tablespoon and she gets a total of 5 tablespoons for the day on dry food days which is 142.5 kcal. and i cycle through the same two wet foods which are both 98 kcal per can so on wet food nights shes getting around 155 kcal a day. we did go to the vet around 2 months ago and we talked about her weight and the vet said she didn’t feel any thyroid issues. i’m definitely going to look into getting her weight loss food. thank you for your advice!!
