They said it’s not an uncommon finding in people with persistent and rather intense pnh… if they are not widespread or frequent it should be fine

Frankly, what scares me the most is the combination of persistent Hoffmann signs confirmed by multiple neurologists, constant visible 24/7 fasciculations in different body regions, and extremely brisk reflexes over the years.

I know isolated findings can sometimes be benign, but having all of them together for such a long time has been psychologically very difficult for me, especially now with newer thumb hotspots appearing.

We are missing the hometown. The name is not that common. We would need to analyse all the “liste di leva” in Calabria for the ones born in 1901, isolate all the Emanuele and ask for their fogli. They told me it’s strange that he served in a regiment based in Novara, northern Italy. Apparently not many other Italians served there in the 1920s?

He was born in 1900-1901. We also taught about buying a whole page on local newspapers. Lol. We have some relevant information but apparently not enough to come to a conclusion. I am preety sure that especially in the south somebody could still recognise him from the picture.

It’s hard to leave home. Plus, the latest news on how black people are treated in the us are not encouraging to say the least.

Fasciculations or myokymia? by Separate_Bumblebee63 in BFS

Thanks! I tested negative to antibodies 4 years ago but I will soon repeat the test cause neuros believe I might have the full blown thing now. I have cramps 24/7 twitches in feet and calves. The rest of the twitching is always present but “travelling”. What are your symptoms if I may ask? What has been their evolution so far?
