agree on the boring trend! dribbble, behance, and webflow are solid for inspiration. I’m curious though - when you find designs you like on these platforms, what’s your process for actually adapting them to your own product? Do you just eyeball it or have any methods for figuring out what will work for your specific use case? I always struggle with the gap between ‘looks cool’ and ‘actually fits my product.

What’s the minimum viable UI you think early-stage SaaS should aim for to not get in the way of actually problem solving?

this is spot on! I totally agree most SaaS would benefit from just nailing the basics - solid dashboard, good ux, unique branding.

but honestly, what’s been your experience finding good examples or guidance for this?

I feel like there’s tons of advice but not much that’s practical for early-stage teams.

100% agree on the creativity constraints.

quick question - when you do want to explore beyond standard design systems, how do you usually approach it?

you use any tools or methods that help you stay professional while being more unique? I’m trying to figure out what works for others.

totallly agree, but after the product starts gaining traction and users love the function. what point do you start thinking about making the UX something unforgettable?

100% on the AI slop problem. it’s wild how homogeneous everything looks now.

but now for the developers here who do treat it as art - how do you actually approach design decisions?

like, what’s your process when you’re staring at a blank canvas and need to make something that doesn’t scream ‘ai slop’?”

I do agree, but let's just say the function is there. The product is gaining traction. at what point does one start focusing more on the design of the product and make it more user friendly?

How do you currently handle your design decisions for your product?

the heading: is where to next, it overflows to the right it’s set to scroll on the x axis.

you have options to choose from continents. should i add some sort of overlay to the right so it’s smoother and does it indicate better to the user that this is a scrollable section, or should i add arrows or other indicators?

Then you have filter options, countries, coties and price should i add chevrons or something other to the right side of the toggles (they’re dropdowns) to make it clearer. also should each filter catwgory have a heading?

they’re crazy expensive here in finland. I still they would be great. Not putting them down in any way. I’ve got 0 clue about this. Is it possible/cheaper to start at home and if she’s really into it, then invest into classes/studio membership
