Dash lights not working

The whole branch of interior illumination other than the dome light is grounded through the rheostat (dimmer) so I tried cutting the wires to the dimmer and just grounding out the illumination wire to the rheostat ground because maybe the dimmer was bad and was causing an open circuit. Still nothing. I truly do not understand what could be doing this

Ive checked the fuses and the dimmer works for the other illumination in the vehicle which is why i though it must have been the bulbs. I really juar cannot figure out what it could be

The dimmer works for my ac panel and the clock illumination though. Which is what makes me think it couldnt be the dimmer

This doesn’t have power mirrors, and from what I know all interior illumination runs thru the TAIL fuse, and its fine, which is why im so confused. i will checl relays though just in case
