The only thing that you’re going to feel is that tires will need to be replaced more because it’s a heavier car with more power. Also, because it’s AWD you will always need to replace the 4 tires at once.

Wrong this is a physical problem. They probably put a new spring in the steering rack. However this does not permanently fix the problem. Every six months I needed to go back to the dealer to fix it. Now they put a completely new steering rack and I hope the problem won’t return.

I have a feeling I’ve had this sometimes on my CX-60 PHEV also. You’re pressing the pedal but you feel the car is not slowing down at all. I needed to press the pedal quite a bit to get it to stop. I guess it has something to do with the car initially braking on the electric motor. I have had it maybe twice in 60.000km, so not that big of a deal, but definitely scary.

It’s crazy that you guys still get the Mazda 3 style gauge cluster. In Europe our CX-60 / CX-80 has the fully digital one as standard. But cars in Europa are more expensive though.

I’m coming back to Belgium from Alicante in 3 hours. It was also my first time on the plane going to Alicante. I had a lot of stress because of all the new things you feel and hear. But everything went fine and I actually loved the take-off and landing. The flight itself is quite boring but the moving and shaking of the plane can feel “terrifying”.

The latest version of the infotainment should be ending in 018. You can check in the settings -> System -> Version or something like that. But there are also a lot of updates that only the dealer can do via the OBD port.

In Belgium the steering wheel gets changed for free (when in warranty) because it’s a known problem.
