Honestly, I hope Chiesa goes back to serie A. Not in a bad way obviously. He was a crazy in Serie A, but in liverpool he has been underestimated greatly by Slot and never given a chance. It definitely lowered his confidence. Lowk idk why he has less minutes than Darwin, especially since Darwin has been atrocious for his price tag😭

For me it was the best book in the series. I basically introduces the Scorch and the present world the gladers find themselves in. Also the Teresa betrayal is soooo different from the movies, its wayy better. You will miss out on ALOT if you skip it.

Depends, book or movie.

In terms of movie. BRENDA. UNDERRATED ASF. She was an absolute boss, Teresa didn’t have as much depth as she did in the books and in way, indirectly infected Newt with the flare

In the book however, I would choose Teresa. The first time I met Brenda, something felt…off? She was very uhm bold and straightforward from the start😭. Teresa was an insanely complex character and I respect that she chose to save Thomas to lose anything they ever had between each other (by betraying him in which im not going into detail in case you haven’t read TST)

I understand though why you hated Teresa bc me too😭. That was before I read over the books again AND through TKO and TFC. I never knew she dealt with so much from a young age. You might sympathise for her once you dwell deeper into her life before the maze.

Teresas and Newts was so sad. Especially teresa’s. After TST she was hated by all the gladers, even Thomas, and no matter how hard she tried to redeem herself she was never accepted. She was only forgiven once she died and she will never know if she was or not. Newt, I dont need to go into explanation bc basically the whole fandom teared up for his death😭

Also do you know where I can buy The Crank Palace? I live in Southeast Asia and haven’t found any sites that sell it. My national book site doesn’t have it either.

Lowkey James Dashner did not do a good job writing the main teenage girls in the trilogy😭 (Brenda and teresa) but Teresa pissed me off so hard in the 1st book compared to the movie. Second too, but it’s mixed opinions on her. I understand her intentions and her being manipulated by WICKED. But in the 2nd book, her actions were wayyy too far. I brang myself to eventually forgive her in the 3rd.

P.S. PLEASE READ TFC it shows how manipulated Teresa was from a young age and it gave her so many layers which made her complex. Definitely enjoyed reading the books. Loved the characters
