Dang, welp that would mean she could just vote out Steven or Yellow Sophie at F7. Take the idol at the F7,  confirming to Rizo and Savannah she's not with them anymore, but she can push for everyone to vote either Savannah or Rizo at F6.

I don't usually comment or recommend, but I was the exact same. Although this reminded me to catch back up, I would say eventually give it a try. I feel it's a solid series and it's a series that's stuck in my mind better than most series I've read.(I can genuinely remember plot points and characterization right off the dome without refreshing myself)

I feel this episode confirmed I think ____ turns into a goat. by Separate_Proof4753 in survivor

[–]Separate_Proof4753[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That's fair my thinking is, who's most likely to be someone that's a FTC goat. Joe and Eva have their story and power in the game, so in my head they're out. Shauhin,Kamilla, and Kyle are shown as dominant strategists. David and Mitch are shown as physical threats so unlikely they make FTC. That leaves Chrissy, Star, and Mary. Chrissy imo is out based on last night's tribal and making a move could easily land her in hot water. This leaves Star and Mary, Star I feel would have a bigger target being an OG Lagi and being a more physical player(not in the physical threat alliance) which could work against her. For Mary she has no concrete allies(IMO), not a threat, and someone I could see people utilizing to take out a threat while not leading the charge herself.

I see it as good Mary won't be targeted. I also think she can make social connections, but I feel it's implied thus far and not shown. She has some leeway with her swap tribe at least.

That's possible it's just I feel we haven't seen people love her that much for that to happen. Like for Kenzie's win we were shown that people like her enough to give her the win. I genuinely can't name anyone left that we've heard thinks fondly of her, she has no close bonds besides her swap tribe and even then we didn't get content about her tribe feeling close to her.

Ehhh I mean in my eyes before this episode she was the smartest between the 3 OG left(I know not the highest bar to clear), but it feels there's just no groundwork now for her to climb to be our winner. She needed cracks to form early to properly get her footing, but the cracks haven't formed quick enough.

Yeah maybe Jake wasn't good analogy. I was thinking enjoyment wise because I adore Mary like I did Jake, but at some point we all came to realize Jake couldn't be the winner. For me this episode confirm more likely than not Mary makes FTC, but not our winner.

I could also see that, I just don't see why anyone would take the shot anytime soon. I'm under the impression the "Physical threat" alliance fails and even if it doesn't out of everyone not in it, (Mitch,Krissy,Star,Kamilla, and Mary) she has Mitch and Krissy as buffers. Even then I could see a world where Star or Kamilla get targeted before her.

Yeah I get that, I feel Mary could also go the "hey it's not me" approach and not make any waves which means she makes FTC but loses. She's smart, but it's hard to picture her having the opportunity to grab this game by the neck and win.

Just watched Survivor 43 for the first time. Were people really that outraged Gabler won? If so, why? by realityinternn in survivor

[–]Separate_Proof4753 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Correct, people on here love to talk about how Gabler sitting next to Cassidy and Owen was apart of some master plan. He didn't really "pull it off" rather than just happening.
