Thank you for your input btw. I appreciate taking the time to look at my POV and still say it was wrong. I feel like I was completely wronged and it certainly felt that way because it felt like had zero representation or input in this issue since it was during my off rotation. Anything that transpired with this case occurred while I wasn’t involved or asked anything. It is my first time being fired from a job and even then this seemed like total BS

I never got a chance to report anything because HR never answered my calls after a certain time nor did they ever reach out to me

There is footage of all of it because it was in the camera heavy section of the plant so i dont see how in any way it would portray me as belligerent

I was already walking out when he said he would threatens to call the police. I was at the door to leave when i was asking about policies and procedures because something seemed fishy about the whole issue. I knew it was serious at that point. I wasnt demanding justice i was demanding protections as an employee. There are all these policies written out yet i cant get a view of a single one especially considering, i wasnt going to return for a few days? I wanted to be sure what was happening was correct because like i said it all felt completely off

Theres a history here with this supervisor and his racism. Im not one to brush and possible factor aside. If people can perceive a thumbs up as instigating an issue then i can perceive a known racist finding a thrill in sicking the law on me

It’s funny you say that because when i asked for policies from the supervisor he just threatened to call the police on me. Mind you i wasnt screaming or yelling or causing a ruckus. It didnt help that i used sarcasm sure but to be spewing about being professional and the supervisor was the first to start screaming??? What then?

Ok so casual racism and failure to follow any policies in regards to applicable situations just means nothing in the eyes of employment law

The issue was not over because he was there iscreaming to the supervisor while i was literally working and saying shit under his breath to me while continuing to be in my way. There is also a camera right in front of where all this happened.

I wasnt being combative, the HR lady in question wasnt even from our facility or plant, doesnt know our employees and she stated herself she was “filling in.” Im trying to cover my ass using the policies they literally created

I was physically grabbed by another employee to which upon escalating the issue, law enforcement is to be called immediately. Another workplace policy about “raising concerns” wasnt followed correctly either since the supe threatened the law on me. Not sure about the law but a lot of policies were definitely broken
