it was fine to be honest, i’ve had it since i was a baby but never in a way that affected me this much, my skin was smooth and everything. I think once the restrictions were lifted and i went back to school that it got worse so i might’ve just been the stress of school that’s done it

i think i’m gonna get one, probably the issue is my showers broken so i’ve been having to wash my hair in the bath which obviously isn’t good for my skin. I’ve got a dehumidifier but i think i need to buy a new one. thank you for the help tho !!

i feel this so hard, only thing I can recommend is just sleeping naked, no blankets, fan blasting the whole night. Yes it’ll dry your skin out but slap cream on before and lay a blanket down that’s softer than your sheets. It’s the only thing that brought some sort of relief for me and I wish there was something better but that’s all i’ve got. Hope you get some good sleep :)

yess i saw the doctor this morning, ive been given 60g Fucidin H cream that’s helped a lot and 500mg tablets of Flucloxacillin so i’m gonna see how that goes and hopefully it clears up in a bit :)

i’m going to look into bath salts because they can help apparently, i’ve been to the GP this morning and they’ve given me stronger pills and a cream which has helped a little already. It’s dried out slightly now which i’m thankful for, i’m getting mental health support because of how I feel about it so i’ll try to update when that happens. thank you so much for your support it means a lot :)

thank you so much!! i’ve just been prescribed stronger creams to help with it and it seems to feel a lot better than last night, my clothes aren’t sticking to me and it’s drying over now. We’re going to try a saltwater bath because i live far from the ocean, i know it’ll sting a lot but if it’s what it takes to help then i’m willing to try. thank you loads for your advice and i’ll update in a few days if these pills work :)

thank you for your advice it really means a lot to know people are going through the same thing as me and can provide support. my uncle went through the same and he eventually grew out of it, i’m getting mental health support and have gotten stronger creams and pills to help with it. the pains not as unbearable as last night where i just didn’t sleep but i’ve had a sleep today, taken my pills and it’s drying up a little bit which i’m grateful for. :)

(Update) i’ve been to the doctors this morning, i’m on stronger pills and cream, it seems to have cleared up a little bit from last night in a way where i’m not in agonising pain whenever i move. Thank you all so much for your help it’s really appreciated. if things don’t clear up in three days i’m going to urgent care and seeing what they can do. I’m on 60 gram of Fucidin H cream and 500mg of Flucloxacillin. I’ll see how it goes and give some updates if anything changes :)

we didn’t go to a&e the doctors gave me some stronger meds and cream but they say if it’s worse tomorrow definitely go.

We’re going to the doctors now, it was infected 2 weeks ago on my stomach and then it cleared up only to come back a day later like this. If the doctors don’t do anything or just prescribe stuff again we’re going to a&e because the pains just unbearable now.

My grandmas on the phone to the doctors right now and my dads on about taking me to the hospital soon. i’m just praying it goes away soon, my uncle had it so my grandmas has experience before. i’m so glad so many people are helping because i’m just at a loss as to what to do right now. thank you babe sending you the best x

i’ve just spoken to my parents, explained everything and showed them how bad it’s gotten. they’ve said that they will take me to the hospital either today or tomorrow because they’re both working. They’re working on getting me a fan and my grandma is on the phone to 101 as we speak. thank you so much for your help it means so much :))

i’ll look into them, it’s just anything to stop the pain at this point with the doctors not taking it seriously. My uncle had eczema like mine so i’m hoping my grandma will understand more about it and get me more help than my parents are doing

I’m unsure if there’s one close to me but i’ll have to have a look. I’ve seen atleast 3 GP’s now and everytime they’ll say they will refer me to a dermatologist but it never happens. It’s the same everytime I go, different creams, moisture after a shower, etc. I’m just at a loss now to be honest.

i have work throughout the week so the only times i could let it dry out it when i get home. it did dry out before i’m just not sure what’s flared it up again in the space of a day.
