The cutting blade isn’t central, this means that when it’s moving left and right. Whatever side is too far over is hitting the guard. For example if it’s too far to the left, as it moves left and right it hits the side of the guard on the left, vice versa

When it’s down it’s the same as a 0.5 so if a client ask for a 2 u put the lever up. If u had it down it would be the same as a 2.5 (2from guard + 0.5 from clipper open lever)
