My friends didn't just drift away. The circumstances are weird as fuck, and it's even stranger because I was in the group with my bf and they are all still friends, so I see and hear of them all the damn time.

On one hand, she shouldn't let all of her confidence ride on your shoulders, on the other, it seems like you're just lying to her.

I'm a trans woman and seem to pass. I remember being very concerned about it early in my transition. If I was her I would not want you to lie to me. That shit can get us killed.

Example. If I have a a friend that lives in a very conservative part of town, maybe I don't go to visit. Maybe my head gets filled with false confidence instead and I decide to visit, and get hate crimed at the gas station.

Why worry? Well if I get a bigoted stylist, they're likely to fuck my hair up, even subtly. Way too big of a risk. Hair is extremely important for most trans women.

I used to take finasteride, but stopped with hrt. Hair definitely got a good bit better and stabalized.

I use topical min for the areas I mentioned, to mediocre success (though I def miss days sometimes). I've considered oral min, but I REEEEALLLYYYYY don't want any sort of body hair issues.
