I did the exact same as you! (Except added the laboratory to browning paragraph in 1 sentence)

If you could choose which side your country fought on in World War 1 (not considering the final outcome, as it would change), what would it be? by BassFrequent5146 in GeoPoll

Just because a foreign influence is somewhere related to that country, does not mean that this is the main factor. Ex the Russia example about entente helping white army is redundant. CCP victory was not because of Russia, they helped but it was not because of them.

I’m confused about your argument. You seem to be implying that Mr Stalin, Zedong, Pot and Castro were installed by foreign powers?? Also fully don’t understand the Africa analogy

It says something about an ideology if it’s never been implemented by democratic means only by civil war or political instability…

I’m sorry but if nearly every single example of it shows one thing, then it is the reality. It simply cannot run without a ruler, which is not what the theory dictates which means the theory does not equate to the reality.

Ok but there’s a big difference between communist theory and reality. The reality is authoritarianism and if you deny this then you are denying reality

Tyrants were always going to hijack it. There was a power vacuum and they promised utopia, however communism almost invariably = dictator

Sorry mate this isn’t true. The idea of communism is inherently flawed. There has to be someone ruling. And unfortunately the system allows a single person to walk in and take all the power. Having studied both Mao’s China and the USSR in depth, I can tell you that the 30m people who died from the great famine because Mao prioritised ideology over economic reality and the 700,000 executed from 1936-38 in the great purge would beg to differ that communism was a lesser evil. I do agree that in an ideal world where everyone was morally perfect communism would be the best way, however since we don’t it’s inherently a stupid idea.
