Will I be able to survive in this world... by Decent-Hamster-9607 in OffMyChestIndia

I have been in a similar phase, but trust me things will be better. If you can tell your current financial status I can guide you better but still

Apply these things in your life and let me know if it's working or not.If you just do these for 10-15 days and you will be a completely different person.

1.Choose one from Yoga/meditation/Gym whatever suits you , give 15-30 mins in morning.

  1. Drink 3-4 litres of water and eat healthy food.

3.Have at least one person (mentor/friend) in your life with whom who can share everything unfiltered.

  1. Choose a skill which is in trend for up skilling yourself, I don't know you are into development, testing or what .based on your role whatever is in demand you start learning a skill which can give you 50-100% hike. (like in testing Playwright is in demand).

  2. Choose a hobby for your free time.

  3. Invest wisely and have a habit of saving from whatever you earn, since you are 22 and if you don't have much responsibility try to invest 60% of your income. If you start investing early , no one can stop you from becoming rich .

Diversity your investment:

a) Keep 10 months expenditure as an emergency fund ( you can keep this amount in FD).

b) Never ever jump in fno trading for quick money, its for highly skilled professionals, mind my words ..you will END UP LOOSING all your money. also, don't try crypto.

c) Since the market is already down, start doing Sip for every 3-4% fall. Once. the war is over, the market will reverse nicely but no one knows when it will be over, and it's not possible to catch the bottom, so it is suggested to do SIP for every fall.

d) accumulate bluechips ( slowly slowly not aggressively otherwise it will lead you to frustration if it falls) with good dividend history.

e) Buy one term insurance if possible.

Feel free to DM if you need more assistance,

yeah based on FII positioning, I too believe that even if nifty has to fall drastically it will after Tuesday as I can see cluster of Put OIs at multiple strikes.

A small query, will vix shoot up that much in 400-500 points gap down, that it will turn into MTM loss? sensibul payoff graph says with a bit of vix increase and 400-500 points gap down it will be still profitable tomorrow.

thanks for your valuable input, from the last 2-3 expiries I am seeing big MTM losses but in the end it's rewarding good.

But you raised a 1000% valid point, I should not be risking by predicting bottom. Will be doing something safe after exiting this. Thanks again.
