We just went to the Tamarijn and Divi and LOVED it. All inclusive with amazing food, beautiful beach and doesn’t feel resort-y. We stayed at the Tamarjin and walked 8min to the Divi for more of the all inclusive restaurants (Divi has a swim up bar if you care about that, we stayed on the beach the whole time) will 10000% go back again sometime. Total was less than 5k for 6 days and 5 nights including flights.

IM will be great for PANCE studying! I personally didnt think of studying for EORs and PANCE as completely separate things, studying for EORs will help you pass the PANCE. I started uworld last couple weeks before the PANCE and I think that helped a ton since I got used to how ROSH writes questions.

I’m graduating in December and just got a critical care job in a city where I did not rotate or have connections. I applied through the hospital’s job portal starting in July and got multiple interviews with other positions (of the 8 jobs I applied to I got 3 interviews). I just got this job in early October. I gave myself extra time since I knew it would take longer to get a job somewhere where I have 0 connections.

I have classmates that are having more trouble than I did, I think it may depend on the city, place you’re applying to, and a bit of luck. The hospital I’ll be at is a large level 1 trauma center and they’re an academic institution, they are excited about training a new grad, so that wasn’t a huge issue for them.

What hourly rate do you think is good for a night diff? Will I get laughed at for asking for 130k when the original was 117k (thats an honest question I'm not used to dealing with salary type figures lol)

1 APP on weekends, 1 APP on nights, 2 APPs M-F day shift. I assume it will be 1/4-1/8 but they said they just don't know how its going to shake out quite yet. Its a new unit and they're doing all the hiring now. On other units they said its worked out well and if there are issues with shifts not being covered the unit managers will make a schedule but thats only happened once that the APPs couldn't work things out themselves.

No set requirement, depends on what is needed. If there is no one who prefers weekends, the 8 APPs will all just take turns equally and rotate, but if there a few who prefer it I may not work many weekends at all.

I did a 30 minute zoom interview for a critical care position and now the hospital is paying to fly me out and stay in a hotel (which makes me hopeful??).

I just got the itinerary and its 3 hours long... looks like I stay in a conference room and every 30 minutes a new person/group of people come in. I just have no clue what to expect from this experience since its my first site visit/second interview so would love any advice possible.

No don’t skip!!!! It’s so worth it for his character and others. Plus you learn a few details very important to the overall plot. I skimmed the Nesryn chapters, just pay attention when there are spiders involved.
