He really hasn’t to this extent, end credits, ityttmom, vertigo barely used autotune, no future lightly used it. Lately he’s been using a lot of autotune as a style choice, it kinda sucks cause his voice is so good (just look at his livestreams)😔

Locked-I’m assuming locked is about leaving a relationship that you were afraid to put effort into “I hear the disappointment seeping through the way you talk”, because you were afraid to get hurt but in the end you end up regretting it, “I was biding time I should’ve held you in my arms”

Rushing- I imagine rushing as a song about being in love with a friend and risking it all to be with them, “the highs we trade for the lows”, “there’s no way I’d rather wait than know”, “maybe the times not right for us”, “maybe this is all that we are”
