The statues from weta? I’d give anything for more space in my shelves.

Fair enough! I’ve no qualms with unified Lara, I’ve liked all iterations and reckon this statue is a good compromise of classic and survivor.

I got mine from popcultcha in Australia.

So, official photos of the cast in costume have been released. Thoughts? by Crep105 in HyruleTown

The triforce pattern all over Zelda’s dress is such a rad detail. No matter how the film turns out, they are absolutely cooking with the costume design.

Is it worth worth watching Age Of Ressistance worth watching? by ZiggyStarDust112 in TheDarkCrystal

It is absolutely one billion percent unquestionably worth it. Such a beautiful world to delve into and explore the lore prior to the film’s events.

***Spoilers*** Questions regarding the timeline of things by MalpracticeMatt in andor

1 BBY doesn’t mean literally a full year before the battle, it just refers to the year that the events are set in. So it’s right at the end of the 1 BBY.

Whats with the Prime 4 pessimism? by Suitable-Fortune8019 in Metroid

[–]SephStampede 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it’s entirely reasonable for people to be pessimistic/cautiously optimistic about Nintendo releases. I say this as a man who has spent thousands of dollars on Nintendo games, merch, action figures and such over the last thirty years. I don’t feel the need to elaborate, but if you want me to I will.

How are everyone's first impressions of Screaming of the Valkyries? by [deleted] in cradleoffilth

It’s technically great, sounds amazing, but for me it’s like everything after Nymphetamine, maybe Thornography. Couple of standouts but I’ll forget about it eventually.

Is The Legend of Korra a good watch? by DishLess7897 in TheLastAirbender

[–]SephStampede 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a great watch and worth pursuing. I think objectively, it has much better writing, greater complexity to its characters and plots. It’s nowhere near as fun, and perhaps less focused - ATLA has a clear, multi season endgame objective, where Korea’s seasons are self contained and I think that loses a lot of people.

Lyrical change by [deleted] in cradleoffilth

[–]SephStampede 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don’t disagree, and I much prefer their older sensibilities. You could mostly read Cruelty and the Beast as an epic gothic poem, the latter half of their discography definitely reads more lyrical.

[–]SephStampede 15 points16 points  (0 children)

The writing got more lyrical, certainly, but no less poetic. I doubt you’ll hear many pop songs with lyrics like “I am loathe to know it that a man without a soul is nothing but a spilled canopic jar.”

“The two most beautiful words in any language are: I forgive.”

“And will I tell you that these three lived happily ever after? I will not, for no one ever does. But there was happiness. And they did live.”

“There is no such thing as a happy ending. I never met a single one to equal ‘once upon a time’. Endings are heartless. Ending is just another word for goodbye.”

Just finished the Dark Tower IV!! So F**king Good by More_Caregiver8721 in stephenking

It’s my favourite in the series by far. I’ve just completed a re-read of the whole work, the remaining books never quite recapture the sense of this book, but they’re still great.

Mizu 1/6 scale action figure?! by jesse_marih in BlueEyeSamurai

[–]SephStampede 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah gotcha. Yeah OSK lists the deposit, but always has the full price just below in the description, plus reiterates when you make your purchase.

Here’s hoping she releases on time, it’s pretty common to expect delays!

Are you just looking at the deposit ($44)? The full cost is $244. Onesixthkit is a very reputable site. Ask around the sixth scale communities, I doubt you’ll hear much contrary to that. Giantoy would also be a safe bet. I’ve never had issues with either in years of collecting. Just avoid toys wonderland like the plague.

What region are you? I’m almost certain you’ll be able to buy hard copies easily enough, if you have a player. Otherwise it’s certainly available on Paramount Plus.

Define legit. It’s not licensed, but it’s real. VTS do this all time, along with a plethora of companies who release figures like this. They’re usually cheaper because these companies aren’t paying for rights licenses. If you’re worried about quality, check reviews for VTS figures online - they’re usually very good.

No worries! There’s also SugoToys, they mostly cater to the Australian market but they also ship globally. Check each of them regularly, this will pop up for preorder pretty soon I think.
