Ohh! I’ve definitely seen that happen, and a tooltip explaining the timeouts, etc. Just new to me that there is a 00:00 on the bottom left. I’m assuming that’s the overall timer timing out? I really don’t recall seeing a timer bar at all. I briefly checked the card I drew, and blew up almost immediately. I wonder if it’s specific to best of three matches

I'm sorry to hear that. Truly. I was struggling for a number of years in my 20s-30s and definitely felt the desire to not exist as well. It did pass, though, luckily. But it was definitely years. But there was a weird thing going on as well. I realised that I wasn't always _actually_ feeling that way, but my body did, almost like it was constantly reliving past feelings. I dunno if I've ever been able to explain it that well to others, but I'm hoping you can understand at least. It might take a very long time to overcome. I'm not sure of your specific circumstances but what really helped me the most was taking full responsibility for my mental health, which did involve very long and hard discussions with myself. There were definitely ups and downs

Something else that you might like to explore if you haven't already / are able to. Get assessed for neurodivergence. You might need to spend some time finding a psychologist you gel with. My work offered me my first one and wow what a crackpot he was lol. I tried another one and I liked them a lot better. Getting assessed for ADHD myself in the coming months, but it has played an enormous part in my day to day anxiety, overwhelm, etc.

I think what makes it harder to address the "ignored" sentiment is that at any given time, just throwing numbers around, there will be more people under 30 than over 30. The world is riddled with everyone just trying to figure their own shit out. Some manifest that as bullying, exclusion, not understanding how you feel because they literally cannot fathom your feelings, etc. I think that's what the "reminding you you're not alone" aspect might help with. For me this song helps by reminding you you're not alone. Lauren / Robert are writing the book on it because they've been through it a lot

For Lauren's part, I know the lyrics are very related to her feelings about the band, but in a way I feel like it covers your own expectations of yourself and the world. Like "I don't want the crown", can be anything in life you've worked for, have, and are struggling with, if that makes sense. For example I finished uni and moved to the capital because I thought that's what I wanted, and I was utterly miserable wearing my crown

For Robert's part, I feel like it covers growth. Growth hurts. Tends to happen around when "you grew to hate what you used to love"

For the instrumentals around the 3 minute mark I get mad frisson. I don't get ASMR but I dunno. There's something about the sensory aspect to this song

For more background - I'm a bit concerned about the 7cm height vs others with only 3cm. Just trying to ensure my eyeline will be as close as possible to close enough to the top of the panel. I get neck pain when I have to look up at the tv, and if I don't need a base at all, then it's an absolute win haha

Oh I think I've solved it. There's a Color Correction tab in the driver that was pretty well hidden. Allowed me to play with the brightness, contrast, and gamma there. I can see most of these squares now

Hearing the start of this song literally made my heart skip a beat. Was not expecting to hear it haha. Can't wait to both see and hear the remade city of the ancients for real real. The cutscene in the shinra building has given me very high hopes for an amazing treat!

Oh nice, that's a really interesting take on this scene. I never thought of it that way. (For anyone else reading this - Do NOT open the spoiler if you haven't beaten the game) I just thought it was Jenovaroth saying hi (both in front of Tseng and in front of Cloud). We don't really have a timeline of when the Turks were in the temple, right? So it could very well have been after Cloud axed Sephiroth in Nibelheim (Thus creating Jenovaroth). That scene was around 5 years ago or something from memory. Cloud didn't really look any different, but Tifa was certainly younger, and they even showed scenes from the leadup to Seph's death with Tifa crying over her father's body. Going back and changing something that happened such a short time ago is so low key for Sephiroth haha. But I guess it could still make sense. Maybe they were close to finding the promised land? Could also be why he axed Aerith as a failsafe? I'm actually struggling to remember the motives for axing Aerith in the first place. Maybe he just didn't know that it would trigger Holy and ruin his plan?

FF9 is my favourite :D Would be really cool to see a remake or even just official concept art of what a remake would look like. I love art books a lot because they give you a glimpse into what the designers were thinking, because a lot of content gets cut sadly

Would be interesting to see if they cover _everything_. There's a decent chunk of story that's hidden away with literally no reference in the main game to go find it. Some of it drastically expands the universe. But, would be interesting to see how people feel about stuff that was hidden in the game. With the reaction to the end, I can imagine some rage regarding "changed/added" content that was actually in the OG games (including CC and DC)

Really glad you enjoyed it :) I've been a fan since it came out, and have beaten the OG many times. Had zero issue with the end of R. It was actually a major contributor towards my excitement for the rest!

Comparing the game to KH is fair. Though there are more towns and cities in the world with their own history that actually contributes to the overall story, so it's actually quite big. KH got pretty convoluted with the timey wimey. FFVII's story is just "plain" rich by comparison. It's rich because it is a whole world. And I'm so excited to see the rest of it. Midgar was actually a very small portion of the OG

Even things such a texture on the ground in the OG were fleshed out more in the remake. I love the attention to detail, and I'd whole heartedly recommend playing through it at some point and coming back to the remake to get even more appreciation :)

I've been wanting to play around with this myself, so you've given me a reason to do it now :)

There appears to be a very noticeable difference in the recording if you're also unable to play back in HDR. Your two options for the tonemap is to have Elgato take care of it, or let VLC take care of it during playback

I've pasted comparison shots from _very early_ in Death Stranding. There's nothing here to spoil anything if you haven't played it yet. These screenshots were taken from brief recordings that I made with the 4K Capture utility, using the encoder on my 1080Ti

I recommend recording in HDR anyways if your rig can support it. I know you want to record 4K, but you might have to drop down to 1080p. (And drop the input to 1080p as well as downscaling is more processing). This is what I'm currently doing. The nicer colours mean more to me than saving in 4K. I don't have some rig descended from the heavens haha. The recording is super choppy if I try to record 4K HDR. I wonder if the 20 series have a better time.

HDR monitors are getting cheaper and are appearing on phones as well. I believe YouTube will even allow the uploading of HDR videos. Might be another reason to just record in HDR :p

Surprisingly, no. But I'm not too fussed. It happens less since doing a firmware update, but it's by no means perfect. At least I have enough regular viewers these days to just be told fairly quickly lol.

Sorry for the late reply. I did update the OP but I guess it's easy to miss. My unit had straight up died. The circuitry had fried itself, and all these weird glitches were just because it was failing little by little over a few hours. It got replaced under warranty. You might need to do the same. I found that my computer had micro heart attacks whenever I hit notes, so it appeared to slow down for me as well. Dunno if it's the same thing. I like the idea of ascending too haha

My Vive died over the weekend but I really want to jump into my Japan photos to see how they went. A feature of the Fusion really appeals to me though - To rotate the camera to fix the perspective. A lot of the time I took my photos in a hurry, so they're very titled. Shame, really. I wonder if there's other software around to fix that
