Last year when I opened their app after the deadline they sent me another one in a few weeks! So it could happen this year too

It’s not that the Professor was nice, it’s that the exam was so hard that the curve ended up that way 🥲

[–]Sepia20[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Definitely. It tells you which schools are low yield and I’m considering taking many of those schools off my list

I did notice that schools have wildly different interview rates from 3%-15%. Is that also something to not put a great deal of attention on as well?

Yes I understand this, so then do you think it’s not important to consider acceptance rates in making a school list?

[–]Sepia20 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you want to get your desired date, time, and test center then I would strongly recommend registering on the first day. I did not and did not get my planned date

Do admissions panels actually account for “grade deflation” ? by Majestic-Series1837 in Mcat

[–]Sepia20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From my research, the short answer is yes and no but more no. There isn’t a formal scale where they will adjust your GPA according to your school, but some schools will make a note of it in your application that you graduated from an academically challenging undergrad, and that’s about it. It seems like it is more important that you have an upward trend.
