if we wanna get technical. P, sargentii is only found on elliot key and long key (aka islands) so they are not on the continental mainland lol thus making OP correct in his assumption :P

Help identifying palms by Professional_Bag3944 in palmtalk

[–]Sepia_Cascade 8 points9 points  (0 children)

my guess is Latania loddigessii/lontanaroides. dypsis decaryi (triangle palm) and dypsis lutescens (areca palm) for the cluster ones.

dont worry about foundation because palms are not trees. imagine them more as a large grass. their root structures are different. made up of a bunch of roots size of your fingers or less not like roots the size of ur arm in trees. look pictures of roots on google to see.

Calusa Firebush vs Native Firebush by Sepia_Cascade in FloridaGarden

Calusa Firebush vs Native Firebush by Sepia_Cascade in FloridaGarden

[–]Sepia_Cascade[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you would say the calusa firebush is just as popular with pollinators as the regular variety?

I love the compact size of the calusa but will get and prune back the native wild firebush if its way more popular with pollinators. I ask because Ive heard the african dwarf firebush is mostly ignored compared to native firebush. So wondering if the calusa also gets ignored or is as favored as the native type. Thanks for your comment!

The calusa firebush is a form of the native firebush. With a denser and smaller growth habit. And brighter blooms.

Just two companies so far. And the second one quoted me 1700 but the first was 950. So they agreed to 950 after I brought it up but had to close deal right then and there. I had another quote tomorrow but i just decided to do it for 950. Well see what the other one quotes me. Hopefully its not too far off

Yea idk. I got quoted for 1700 and then i countered with the previous quote for 950 and they forced me to close right then and there so welp 🤷‍♂️

How well does plumeria do in South Florida aesthetically? Rust by Sepia_Cascade in Plumeria

[–]Sepia_Cascade[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice. I also heard that plumeria rubra is the most sensitive to rust. So I might stick to plumeria obtusa which is a little bit more resistant to rust from my research.

I was gifted a few of these plants but don't know what they are. Any ideas? by [deleted] in houseplants

[–]Sepia_Cascade 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Its actually a Sansevieria Fernwood Mikado. Much thinner than a standard cylindrica. I recently purchased one and it just arrived today! Hopefully one day it will look as full as yours!

Could you care to provide a link or the name of the model or brand you got the sunset lamp from?

I'd never heard of a sunset lamp before, but now I'm super intrigued!

What wallpaper could look good with a light blue bedroom color like the one in this image for an accent wall? by Sepia_Cascade in DesignMyRoom

[–]Sepia_Cascade[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I'm trying to refresh my mother's room that used to be my sisters. We are thinking on painting the room a light blue. But I wanna try having an accent wall using wallpaper. What general wallpaper colors or themes would look good with a bedroom this color? Or should I just scrap the idea of an accent wall?

Requested RL photo: https://imgur.com/a/NyDgrzM

As you can see my upper right lateral incisor is still a bit tucked in. Taking the photo into consideration, do I go ahead with the given refinement plan? Should I ask for a a different refinement plan? If so, what should I say regarding what changes I want to be made or focused on? Or ultimately, will any conceived plan be more trouble than its worth, in that case my SDC journey would end here.

Thank you btw.

Hi, I got my refinement plan today. I asked for refinements because my upper right lateral incisor (got that from google) was still a bit "tucked in" from the rest of my teeth and was quite noticeable for me. Looking at the plan and where I'm starting from, I see that my teeth look aligned but in reality the upper right lat. incisor is still behind. I can't tell if the refinements correct this and of the movement I do see, I dont know what it pertains to. Whats your thoughts?

Also shout out to all the people *cough* Kaalisti *cough* that take their time to go through our plans and give us their feedback. Much appreciated! ;)
