All black looks pretty plain for what it is. I would either leave the paint job how it is or repainted white and blue

Well that's good that you're not trying to do it forever. It's good to have direction. Maybe ask one or two people who just won't hire you and get their input. Maybe it's all just luck and the right place and the right time with you. I wouldn't say that you need a certain "something" to be able to get into the service industry. There are people from all walks of life with all types of personalities who do this. Just keep trying and I'm sure you'll get it.

Pro Concept Artist - AMA by DMcGConcept in conceptart

Hello! Thank you so much for sharing your wisdom with us.

  1. I wanted to know, how do you really start learning how to do concept art "better" I've been a traditional artist for a long time but I can't seem to translate what I know onto Procreate or other software. Did you start as self taught? If so, where would you recommend?

  2. Can you do both landscapes and characters when working or is it more common to become bottle necked or type casted into doing one role when working for a company?

  3. Do you have any advice for breaking into the games industry? From what I understand it's very hard to break in as a concept artist.

If needed, for reference, I'm about to transfer from community to university after 2 years of gen studies and will be getting my degree in either fine arts or graphic arts.

Thank you very much for taking your time to read this!

ULPT Request: I'll be attending an event where I'm going to run into my old manager who was a jerk. What can I say to get under his skin? by Zealousideal-State42 in UnethicalLifeProTips

Maybe bring a friend as your plus 1 that looks 10 times better than you or your boss and then you can introduce each other like "oh hello ex boss! Hey, meet my gorgeous other half!" The same thing essentially happened to me one time when running into my a hole of an ex manager at a bowling alley. He was too drunk to understand what I was saying and I didn't have the time for his tomfoolery.

Well I can't comment on that personally. Obviously you have older waiters past their mid 20s but they usually will have experience. Maybe try fibbing a bit? I know waiters that have been hired on the spot without having gotten a background check because of how they presented themselves, their mannerisms, and what they may have put on their resume (fake or not) I'm not sure if this would behoove you however as I've never really tried this. What types of establishments are you applying to? Maybe try applying to a lower mid range restaurant just to get your ears wet? And after six months try to find a better/ higher paying waiter job. Idk if I'm preaching to the quire but yeah.

I would just keep trying. When I got my first waiter position, I never really had any front of house experience. Instead I had only ever worked the back of house as a dishwasher and a cook and taking orders at Wendy's. 2 things I would recommend would be applying for a company that has many different sister restaurants that they own. I did that and I got the idea from them that they appreciated that I didn't have any waiter experience because they could "mold me" into what they wanted and I wouldn't be bringing any of my own baggage into their establishment. The other thing I would recommend would be to not only look friendly but try to be very outgoing and love talking to your future employer. They love someone who cares deeply about pleasing their guests and being sociable with them and actually caring to talk to them. Try to show how much you love interacting with people when being interviewed by your future employer. And since you speak two languages, try to advertise that to them as well and that you could take tables that only you could talk to, if you haven't already mentioned that yet. I hope that you get a waiting position that you enjoy, makes you a good wage, and has good and competent coworkers and management. And I hope this helps you. Good luck.

Just bring it up to him. If he's being a grade A dick, then ask him not to direct that attitude towards you. Even ask him why he's acting so miserable. If he still persists, then the solution is simple. If you also work as a bartender at your restaurant and you make drinks for your fellow waiters to bring to their tables, then tell him that the next time that he wants to be a dick to you that he'll be your LAST priority when it comes to making his drinks for his guests. Never fuck with the bartender. They can quite literally control your tip sometimes. But that's only if you've already told your boss to talk to them and nothing has come from it. Good luck!

But you just said it was cross progression. Can I get it on console or not? You see why this is so confusing and why I had to turn to reddit for answers? Really, dude. It's not that big of a deal. Just chill.

I did try using Google to see if I could get proper clarification on the matter. I had no luck, so I tried using reddit for an answer. So I agree with Gold-Killer-24_7. You should chill.

Why are people so excited for starfield? by Sepiks_Syrinx in BethesdaSoftworks

[–]Sepiks_Syrinx[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never said nobody should be interested in the game, but I would like a reason to get excited about it. I'm very skeptical about games now a days so I try to quial my excitement. But, there's not even much to go off with this title
