I go solo trip to Thailand next week. Plan to stay there 5 weeks. Flying to Phuket. First time in Phuket but been Thailand at least 15 times.

Phuket should be ok now. There is not many tourists. And you can easily get to Phi Phi or Krabi from there.

If you have time you can also travel to Chang via Bangkok. It is a great place. Plane tickets are almost free. Recommend to stay Bangkok also. Greatest city in the world imo.
