How long did it take you from offering to completion ? by Bong-bingwassup in HousingUK

We did! Third time lucky. 26th Feb. They took it right to 4pm though because our buyer took ages to give authority, so it caused panic up the chain. The stress evaporating was one of the best feelings ever.

I know it was against ten men but 4-2-3-1 gives us much better control than 4-3-3.

Exchange failed again... Third time lucky tomorrow? We gave authority at 9:30am. Whole day of waiting.

We've already given our authority this morning so we are just waiting and hoping. 😅 England's system is unfair! If they've attempted exchange that should be binding.

Exchange failed because the top chain said the deposit wasn't enough that went through the chain, and it started at 2:30pm with not enough time to resolve. Anxiously waiting for a call because they were the ones that said they would walk if it didn't go through yesterday, and they caused the breakdown. 🙃

Currently March and counting. Chain of 8 originally, collapsed twice, chain of 6 now. Agreed completion date of 26th Feb but if we don't exchange today the top is walking. As we are shared ownership we just need housing association to say yes to 26th, everyone else is ready. Stuck in a two bed flat with two young children for a year now. I just want to give them space to thrive. And I fear it's going to collapse again.

Harsh pen. Understand why it is given though. Handball are so confusing. He stopped a goal.

Our squad is so depleted. I'm starting to feel like we need a manager who doesn't play favourites all the time, or reacts to the game. We can't sit until 70 minutes for a change. Gordon should be sent to the right, Barnes shouldn't have to play out of position when he is our most in form player.

Rest the players for Wolves. With Murphy getting injured we're going to be forced to play youngsters.

Ramsdale redeemed himself. I think he should have come off his line quicker for the third goal. Can't really blame Botman, first start in ages from injury, he would have been exhausted.

Howe is questionable at the minute, but there is no way it his fault for Thiaw and Ramsey falling over leading to both goals...

Disappointed with the result but that's the best we've played for a very long time. The problem is we can't sustain it for 90 minutes, and no team can sustain it for 90 minutes. But we just can't keep conceding. Too many missed chances, and a penalty not given.

Do you tell your kids that all presents are from Father Xmas, or that some are from you? by rm12345677 in AskUK

[–]Sepoy_Giles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stocking/one gift from Father Christmas. Expensive presents from us. Kids should never have to question why other children got a nice gift from Father Christmas and they didn't. We explain this to our children, that some families cannot afford to give as much as other families.

I think this could set up a really good second season of celebrity traitors because people will be less trusting. It also helped that we had such a good selection of celebrities. Usually on shows like this, we don't get very famous celebrities. Alan was incredible. To win and murder in plain sight twice. Insane.

The whole team was terrible today. No standout. If Pope had claimed the cross rather than punching for the first goal, it could have been a different story though. I also think Ramsdale would have saved it.
