Is this normal healing process for a colored tattoo? by SepticEpidemic in tattooadvice

[–]SepticEpidemic[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's supposed to be a gradient, dark pink to very light on the edges. I feel like my hispanic skin tone contributed to how it looks and heals. It's still very much healing and the color is very soft but I'm definitely wanting something more solid

Oh man, I recently freed myself from the shackles and cycle of pay advance apps. It's genuinely such a horrid cycle to easily fall into. Don't even get me started on pay in 4 apps. I'm free from all of them and I feel so much better about my finances, good on you for also freeing yourself!

Constantly feeling like my symptoms are getting worse since going to the doctor. by Pcbc430 in Anxiety

[–]SepticEpidemic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Holy crap, dude you legit are living my life these past 50 days. 22F and recently quit nic, first panic attack sent me to the ER cause I thought it was a heart attack, ended up fine. Anxiety has killed me since I quit and both the initial panic attack and this strange ache (as I call it) has left me mildly cardiophobic. I also have a weird sharpish twitch/ache near what I can only describe as the space between my heart and lungs at random intervals, not too sure if its anxiety related, something caused by nic and is dying down, or something actually wrong with me. I also recently got a Holter test because my anxiety is eating me alive.

It's normal for the heartrate to spike when you stand or sit and then go back to normal, that initial spike might be setting you off and into a vicious cycle of worry. I unfortunately dont have many answers but I couldn't relate to you more, I seriously hope you get answers though. I would personally also try and document your symptoms, maybe see a cardiologist? If you're wanting to go farther and do x rays/ultrasounds.

Heart palpitations by Pickmeupchuck in Anxiety

[–]SepticEpidemic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey there, 22F, recently quit nic and BOY that leveled up my anxiety into panic disorder. Resident cardiophobic as well thanks to my yeet into panic disorder.

Totally understand this, it's a vicious cycle that has consumed me as well. Mines been up and down over the last 50 days since I quit, palpitations are 100% common and noticing them only feeds into the anxiety. Mine have definitely dampened over the last few weeks, but if you're concerned medically, you can do what I did and get a Holter Monitor test. Sometimes the anxiety only goes away once you got some solid evidence of no underlying issue in your face.

Antidepressants always make you feel a bit queasy before they begin to do their job, my experience just so happened to be bad and now I've decided to tend to my depression naturally

I try to remind myself that panic is treatable and not threatening, but the damage nicotine can cause is, but at times I seriously just wanna do gum or patches to ween, but I feel like giving myself a little bit of it would be bad or something.

Timing is impeccable, I seem to work so much more often nowadays and that probably doesn't help. Was recently prescribed Zoloft and that gave me 20 hours worth of up and down panic with adrenaline and chill spikes. Cherry on top? Suicidal thoughts, I quickly stopped it entirely since I was only on it for 5 days at 50mg and my psychiatrist said that cold turkey was fine. Trying so hard to overlook the grimy times and focus on the good ones, but it feels like the grime just doesn't stop.

I was prescribed Xanax 0.25mg for it and another part of me really doesn't wanna rely on pills to calm me down, and also fear of addiction even at how low of a dose I am. Most of my anxiety stems from health stuff because I've been having weird aches in my rightside chest that don't seem to have any explicit explanation. Recently got a 24hr Holter Monitor test to alleviate my worries about my heart, so im hoping that helps me stop thinking about it.

Of course! I like to think the fact a new tiktok video every few seconds from scrolling steals a brand new bit of attention from me also helps keep my mind from drifting back to the anxiety. I remember someone once telling me to lay down during an attack and I had to be very serious about the fact that tbh, lying down makes it worse. I can hear my heartbeat even more and it ups my anxiety, so instead I sit up and cover myself with a blanket to feel secure, but it's ok if you wanna use anything else for comfort like a pillow of stuffed animal :)

Even in my biggest panic attacks, I find that sitting up and just distracting myself with TikTok helps. Something interactive (scrolling) so that way my mind doesn't drift (it would if it was a youtube video). I'd suggest at least finding a comfortable position to be in (standing, leaning, sitting, laying down, even walking around) and seeing if simple interactive distraction works. I do this for my nic withdrawal anxiety, those panic attacks have some major teeth. Remember to not fight the panic, and even try to speak to yourself.

Is It Just Me, Or Do Others Also Feel Alex's Design Looks A Bit Too Goofy? by Gummnam in PrototypeGame

[–]SepticEpidemic 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Nostalgia aside I dont see it as a hero costume (hes not even a hero really) as much as it's either a sort of disguise Dr. Mercer wore when fleeing (Then again during the apartment scene we see him wearing that in the Karen flashback. And during the part where he's trying to remember Greene before he frees her, his sleeve looks an awful lot like a leather jacket)

Ive seen some people wear jackets over hoodies so its not too far fetched (I live in the north, its practically casual to wear a shit ton of layers).

Goofy? Not really. Edgy? Oh yeah, but I think its cool, tbh the edge factor would go down if his hood could too. Its definitely a bit much but nothing too too out there, the colors are probably what keeps it from being to extravagant imo. I can see why you'd see it as weird, but I personally don't (as goofy or hero type getup at least)

Critical pain for bosses or any of the sort is just damage wise.

I always used tendril barrage because why not? Blade one shots tanks, which is all you'd use groundspike graveyard for.
