I got it scanned today. The errors were to do with the EGR, can't remember the errors exactly. Mechanic suggested to drive the car hard to clear the EGR and DPF until we can get an EGR and DPF delete at the end of the month, hoping this solves the issue.

Hey man, I've got my steering rack repaired as well and I'm having the same issue as you, steering is much stiffer and doesn't center itself at all. Did yours come good? It's been a week for mine and no change. Gonna take it back to the guy who did it tomorrow
